Getting Your Body Structurally Fit

Keeping body fit is something many people talk about but few really understand how important it is. For me, I use to take my body anyhow before, until one day I wake up and feel heavy, weak and tired. I knew something was not right. From that day, I tell myself, I must start taking care of my body because this same body carry me everywhere I go.

At first, it was not easy. I start with morning jogging, but after few minutes I already breathing like old man. I almost give up, but I remember how I use to feel lazy before, so I continue small small. After some weeks, I begin to notice changes my body become lighter, I sleep better, and even my thinking become more clear.

Getting body fit is not only about doing gym or exercise, it also about what you eat. Before, I use to eat late night food like rice and beans around 10pm. Later I realize that it affect my sleep and body shape. I now try to eat early and reduce too much oily food. Even water, I learn to drink more water instead of only soft drinks.

Another thing that help me is rest. Many of us forget that resting is part of being fit. You cannot just work every day without giving your body chance to relax. Sometimes I take walk to feel nature or stretch my body after long sitting. Even dancing to music is good exercise, and it make me happy too.

The truth is, getting your body structurally fit is not only for beauty, it is for your health and mind too. When you are fit, you can face life better, you don’t fall sick often and you have confidence.

Now I don’t joke with my body again. I know it is my first home, and if it break down, no other one to live in. So I keep moving, keep eating right, and keep staying strong.
