My Actifit Report Card: March 7 2026

A Calm Walk in the Peaceful Nights of Ramadan | Actifit Report
Ramadan days always feel a little different from normal days. The routine changes, the body feels lighter during fasting, and the nights somehow become more peaceful. Today after Iftar, I decided to go out for a small walk. Honestly, at first I was feeling a bit lazy because after eating you just want to sit, drink tea, and relax. But I reminded myself that even a small walk can refresh the mind.
So I stepped outside.
The night air felt cool and calm. In our area, after Iftar the streets slowly become active again. Some people were going to the mosque for Taraweeh, some shopkeepers were still serving customers, and a few kids were playing cricket under the street lights. These small scenes always make Ramadan nights feel alive.
While walking, I noticed something interesting. During Ramadan people seem a little softer with each other. Maybe fasting teaches patience. A shopkeeper smiling, someone greeting with Assalamualaikum, or just neighbors sitting outside talking — these simple things feel more meaningful during this month.
I kept walking slowly through the streets. I wasn't trying to break any record today. It was just a relaxed walk, enjoying the quiet moments. Sometimes I think walking is not only exercise for the body, it also clears the mind. You get time to think about life, plans, mistakes, and hopes.
One thought that came to my mind today was how Ramadan gives us a chance to reset ourselves. Not only in terms of food or fasting, but also in behavior and thinking. Even a small habit like walking daily can be part of that reset.
After some time I returned home feeling lighter and more relaxed. The body felt active again and the laziness after Iftar disappeared. That is the funny thing about walking — you start with laziness but end with energy.
Today’s walk was not very long, but it was peaceful and refreshing. And honestly, sometimes these simple quiet walks are better than long tiring ones.
Ramadan Mubarak to everyone who is reading this. May this beautiful month bring peace, patience, and blessings into our lives.
Stay active and stay healthy.
