My Actifit Report Card: November 2 2026

Hey Actifitters,

Since we fell back into standard time this week end, it becomes tricky on weekdays to start our daily walk before sundown. But yesterday, we managed to spend time in the yard in the afternoon. Even with the recent rain and wind, we still have beautiful colors. Not for long though, so we enjoy it as much as possible.

Le Chat just wanted somebody to open the door for her.

But she couldn't resist joining her canine sister for a snack on the lawn. It always cracks me up when they react completely in sync for some noise in the distance.

We also managed to start our daily walk before darkness. Colors also stay beautiful there, I'd even say it's at peak right now.

It's impressive how dogs can separate sounds. A neighbor was mulching leaves in their lawn, and that's pretty much all I could hear. But Kaia could hear all the critters, and combined with her nose, she knew exactly where to go for a good chase!

Le Chat joined us again next to the entrance.

I guess she wanted to hang out a little more with Kaia.

And finally during our loops in the neighborhood, we met these two deer. The second one was clearly much younger, and stayed behind a bit because it kept looking at Kaia and even leaned in our direction a little bit.

And that was it for the day's activities. Mostly a routine day to start the week. But it ended with a colleague calling me a bit panicked about a project and I ended up spending the entire night working on it. I made a little progress but I think this project will bother us a lot more for the next few days. We'll see how it goes.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
