My Actifit Report Card: July 26 2026

Hey Actifitters,

Nothing much to report yesterday, just a quiet Sunday. And that's where Le Chat thrives!

Of course, we didn't skip on our daily walk, we just went a little earlier.

In the small forest, it now feels like it was always our daily walk go-to forest, but it's been only a few weeks I think since Kaia's injury getting worse and we stopped going to the bigger forest. It's just as beautiful there.

And of course, Kaia can also find plenty of scents to track, although this one, just like most, didn't lead to anything.

During our last couple of loops in the neighborhood, the early sunset was beautiful. Not sure if it's the lingering haze from the Canadian wildfires, or just a beautiful evening sky, but the sun color was very cool in the sky.

And it wasn't blinding like sunsets sometimes are.

But at every corner we turned, it was there shining.

For once, we were done with our walk before darkness. Kaia and Le Chat were apparently both very tired. So I took the opportunity to start yard work before nightfall. I had time to finish the front yard and a good chunk of the back yard. Maybe that will be enough until just before my trip when I will need to do a more thorough job.
