My Actifit Report Card: July 6 2026

Hey Actifitters,

It had been a while but yesterday a young male deer showed up in the yard, just chilling and munching on leaves down on the ground after the recent storms.

I kept Kaia inside of course, but Le Chat was observing this big thing, just in case.

That was our entertainment in the morning, and in the afternoon, as usual, we went for our daily walk under a beautiful cloudy sky.

As usual, nothing fancy about our walk. With Kaia's injury, we started a few weeks ago to only go to the small forest.

Still plenty of exploring for her and it's easier on her leg.

The last sunset colors started to show on the clouds.

It was tempting again to walk all the way to the west end of these streets.

But we turned back about halfway, it's still too much for Kaia, she would limp way too much the next day.

Well, that was kind of a lazy day and my step count shows it. Of course, the fact Actifit cannot count steps correctly makes it look even worse, but I think I was barely at 12k steps at the end of the day. And I also haven't run in maybe 10 days, last week was too hot, and I haven't been feeling the best the past few days, especially with a stomachache. Not good for my training, about two months left before my first half marathon race this year. Let's see how it goes this week.
