My Actifit Report Card: June 29 2026

Hey Actifitters,

After a pretty nice weekend, the start of the work week was a bit too busy, so many meetings! It was challenging but we still managed to take several breaks in the yard. Our daily walk came later though because an unplanned meeting started exactly as I was getting ready to head out. Of course! Maybe it was for the better though, because with the sudden warm up that started, going on a walk in the afternoon sun probably wouldn't have been a good idea. It was still hot but a little better when we finally made it to the little forest.

Just a few loops in there and we were already kind of done for the day. It wasn't even super hot yet (will be so much worse the rest of the week) but we simply don't enjoy summer temps! On the way back, when we met with Le Chat, we did spend a little bit more time out there, so the sisters could do their usual exploration.

One last loop in the neighborhood to close the day's activities, we were done!

Extreme heat and humidity with 'feels like' temps in the 110s F (above 45C) are in the forecast this week, it's going to be miserable! I'm glad my new A/C system seems to be performing very well because we'll be indoor most of the time the next few days...
