My Actifit Report Card: June 12 2026

Hey Actifitters,

I'm starting again with a typical Le Chat's face because it's Caturday, but the real star yesterday was this young deer, hanging out in the front yard for quite a while.

Kaia was barking at it like crazy from behind the fence, but it didn't seem to really bother it. It just stayed there, munching on grass and chilling, still keeping an eye on Kaia though.

Later, when it was gone for sure, we went for our daily walk behind the front yard.

After almost a month of low activity and anti inflammatory, Kaia seems to be doing a little better (at least during our walks, she still struggles a lot when she gets up after lying down for a while). So we decided to extend our walks a little bit. Still in the small forest, but more loops, and further inside towards the other side.

One thing that never changed for Kaia, she's always on the lookout for critters!

On the way back, we found Le Chat waiting for us at the forest edge, or rather eating grass again.

She stayed with Kaia for a while. It was a good opportunity for Kaia to rest for a bit.

And we finished with a couple more loops in the neighborhood, enjoying the last colors of the sunset.

And that was it for the day. 15k steps with the latest Actifit version, that's a good performance, it was easily over 20k in reality. I'll try going for a run on Saturday to try and step it up further.
