Yesterday it was a rainy day. It started raining early in the morning and by the end of the day it was still raining.
I love rain and I was happy that it was raining so much because a lot of agriculture in India depends on rain and my business that is the nursery business needs good weather and a lot of water for survival.
I had one of my workers at the nursery, and he helped me with rearranging some of the plants.
Since we brought new stock, all the plants were here and there, and because there wasn't much space, we had to craft them all together.
Now that some of the plants have been sold, I made sure to just give more space between plants so that it's easy for the plants to survive and easy for me to move around.
I believe that arranging plants is one of the easiest ways to get more sales. The easier it is for the customer to locate a plant, the easier it is for them to make a decision about buying the plant, and they end up buying the plant.
I have at least 100 varieties of plants. I often say that I have more than 300 varieties, but that's not always the case. Right now, I might have like 100 different varieties.
I have different fruit plants, we have different show plants, ornamental plants, average plants, we have indoor and outdoor plants, and we also have a few succulents.
The plants at the nursery are looking really good. I will share some photos here in this post so that you guys can see how well my plants are doing.
One of the reasons why all the plants are doing well is that it's raining a lot and plants love rain. And the second reason why my plants are doing well is because I take care of them and I provide them with whatever they need.
I usually do not use chemical fertilizers because I believe in organic stuff and organic stuff is always safe.
But lately I have noticed that some of the insects that eat plants are not getting distracted or removed by organic pesticides. So I have moved to chemical pesticides.
I don't use them very often but once in a while I have to use them.
A lot of plants get melya bug, and it's very difficult for many people to get rid of this media bug.
It took me, personally, a few years to learn how to deal with them, how to get them to stop eating our plants, and I am kind of like an expert now. Just joking.
And usually I use vermicompost for the plants, but these days I've been using a mix of both organic and inorganic substances so that my plants will grow better and will give me some good results.
Vermicompost is one of the best fertilizers for our plants as it helps the plant grow taller and brighter and greener.
And for flowering plants, we use a wide variety of chemical and non-chemical solutions.
One of the most common chemical fertilizers that I use at my nursery is NPK 19-19-19 because it helps my plants grow taller and they give out flowers pretty sooner than other varieties.
I'm also trying to experiment with what with a homemade solution that is called jivamrupta and last time when I used it it was pretty much effective and helpful.
Anyways, that's all from my side for today. I'll come back tomorrow, and it's almost 11.30pm, and I need to go to bed.
Tomorrow I have a few things to do and I have a very very busy day tomorrow. I hope everything goes well for me and I will be able to accomplish what I have set out to achieve.
I need to go now. I will see you tomorrow. Adios. Shabba khair. Good night.
