My Actifit Report Card: July 23 2025

If you have read my yesterday's post, then you would know that yesterday was a very very horrible day for me at the nursery, and I was tired, I was stressed, I was angry, and I was frustrated with the current state of system in my city.

There were these storm drains that were blocked, and all the water was flowing for about half a kilometer, and no one was ready to take charge and make a complaint.

I made a few calls, I made a complaint, and the issue was resolved.

Yesterday evening, when I was returning home, I noticed that it had started to rain.

I was a little bit scared that it might rain again, and it might cause the same problems again.

But thankfully, when I reached the nursery this morning, there was no flooding, and everything was as it was supposed to be.

I was happy, and I was hoping for a great day today.

I was hoping I would see some more sales today because it rained yesterday and usually this has been the situation whenever there are heavy rains people are rushed to buy plants because plants grow well in monsoon.

But I didn't have many customers today at the nursery so I spent the day watching YouTube shorts and eating random snacks.

But, as the government notification announced that it's going to rain for the next few days, they gave an orange warning for my city saying that there will be mild to heavy rainfalls in the next few days.

I read the report and I was ready with my raincoat and my jacket and everything.

And it started to rain at around 11 AM and it continued raining till late evening.

It's around 11 PM here in my city and honestly, there's still some rain sprinkling all over the city.

I just finished my dinner and I'm feeling a little bit of bloating.

I have been having some issues with my stomach lately.

Maybe because I'm eating out a lot.

I don't know.

I'm trying to understand my metabolism and skipping my lunch usually to keep myself healthy.

I think the next few days will be the same, with less customers at the nursery and a lot of rain.

I don't mind, because rain is important, not just to me personally, but to the whole city, the whole state and the country, because our population has been growing exponentially and our needs have increased many folds in the last 10 years and we need more water.

We need more water to survive and to cook and to eat and to clean and to do everything that we need water for.

I have been talking with a few farmers and they said that unseasonal rains in May have caused havoc in their farming life.

Normally, monsoon arrives in June in my region, but this year it started to rain in May, which caused the farmers some scare because all the crops that they had in the heat of summer of May were filled with water and the farmers lost a huge amount of money because of unseasonal rains.

A lot of farmers have recently started to sow their seeds for the season.

It's around a month late because of unseasonal rains and a lot of destruction happened because of heavy downpour in several villages.

My city is pretty safe but we get kind of like extreme weather.

It's either extreme summer, extreme winter or extreme rainy season.

But I hope this year, the whole year will be much better than what it was last year.

In other news, crypto has been keeping everyone on their toes.

Some people are losing money, some people are gaining a lot of money, and people like us who are into business are unable to focus on crypto because of other prior commitments.

10 years ago, I could never have imagined that Bitcoin would be $100,000, and maybe I'd have saved a few Bitcoins from Fact10.

Who knows?

I wanted to buy Bitcoin, actually, but there were not many options here in India to buy Bitcoin in 2011, 2012, or 2013.

I only started to buy Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in 2015 and onwards.

One of the India's top exchanges got hacked for a few hundred million dollars and it's a big mess over here.

Although they have promised to return all the funds, and they did eventually, but people are unhappy because people are that way, I think.

I personally have stopped using exchanges.

To be honest, I have stopped all form of cryptocurrency related deals and purely focusing on writing, earning here, and building a portfolio for the next five years.

A lot of people are going through many many health issues and it is always best to consult a doctor periodically.

I haven't seen a doctor in a year or more.

P.S. Guys, if you could go back in time and buy Bitcoin in 2011, would you buy a house and then start mining crypto, or would you buy Bitcoin at a cheap price and then come back to this permanent timeline?

I know, time travel is and will never be possible, but let's talk about our wishes and fantasies and dreams.
