Vinland Saga Episode 17 - "Servant"

Askeladd was betrayed by his Danish followers; only Bjorn, Thorfinn, and the prince remain with him. Following Askeladd's orders, Bjorn escapes with the prince and Thorfinn on horseback.

After they flee with the prince, Thorfinn realizes that Askeladd may not survive this time due to his age. However, Askeladd still manages to kill many of his men who betrayed him. Before Thorfinn arrives, Thorkell, the giant warrior, appears to capture Askeladd.

Askeladd is shocked to see Thorfinn return, but then we are reminded that the whole story revolves around Askeladd killing Thorfinn's father. Thorfinn has been challenging Askeladd to duels ever since, losing each time but vowing to one day get his revenge by killing him.

Thorkell is excited to fight Thorfinn because Thorfinn's father, Thors, was the greatest warrior he ever knew. Thorfinn has already proven his skill to Thorkell during the battle on London Bridge, where Thorkell lost two fingers to Thorfinn. However, Thorfinn had to retreat because he almost died in that fight.

Thorfinn is determined to kill Askeladd, but first, he must face Thorkell. The battle between Thorfinn and Thorkell begins—let's see what happens tomorrow!
