My Actifit Report Card: October 5 2026

Today, I successfully completed an audit for the first time. This was a significant milestone for me because, until now, whenever an audit came up, I would ask a colleague to go instead.

I used to feel I couldn't explain things clearly—unlike them, who could articulate exactly how things worked—so I would send them, believing they would get the job done perfectly.

Eventually, however, the responsibility fell to me. I had attended a few audits previously, but they were usually minor ones where my presence was merely a formality. This time, though, I was assigned to a more substantial audit.

Left with no choice—and despite my dislike for traveling—I set out. I arrived at the town where our head office is located around 4:30 AM, checked into a hotel, and caught some sleep. I woke up at 8:00 AM, got ready, and stepped out for breakfast; I hadn't eaten before leaving because I was carrying heavy files in my bag.

After having breakfast outside and returning to my room to finish getting ready, I booked a Rapido bike. The rider arrived promptly and dropped me at my destination within thirty minutes. Shortly after I arrived, the audit began.

I provided the details for everything they asked about, and they were satisfied with the information. The audit wrapped up by 12:00 PM. When we asked if we could leave, we were told we could.

I felt relieved, thinking, "Thank goodness, it finished so quickly; now I can go back to my room and rest." However, the person who organized the audit wouldn't let us go.

He detained us with flimsy excuses, claiming he needed to meet a superior officer to ask if we were permitted to leave. We ended up waiting for three hours before finally getting permission to depart.

As soon as I stepped out, I headed straight back to my room. It was then that I realized I had answered every question asked during the audit quite well. I understood that this was the first audit I had successfully completed entirely on my own.

The mere thought of it filled me with a sense of quiet joy. I didn't go for a separate walk today; the movement involved in running around for the audit took care of that. Otherwise, the rest of the day went on as usual.
