A senior colleague of mine—someone who is very helpful and whom I know well—uses an iPhone. Many of you are likely aware that the iPhone lacks the flexibility found in Android devices; I, too, don't have extensive knowledge about it.

Usually, on Android, if we have two phone numbers and want to use WhatsApp for both, we use an "app cloner." I had assumed a similar option existed on the iPhone as well.

Today, he asked me to register his second number on PhonePe. When I checked the settings, I found a "Phone Clone" feature but no "App Clone" option. An online search suggested downloading a third-party app.

I initially thought it might not be possible, but I consulted another iPhone user who confirmed that the cloning feature doesn't exist on iPhones.

He explained that if one really needs to use two numbers, the solution is simply to download two or three different UPI payment apps and register each number on a separate app.

The logic was so simple that it made me chuckle. I proceeded to set it up for him exactly as suggested.

As for the rest of my day: I woke up early for a walk, got ready for work, and became swamped with a heavy workload. I returned home late and wrapped up the day after a hearty dinner and a good sleep.
