Today, however, people earn money through businesses that recklessly gamble with human lives. There is a growing number of people who care only about their own well-being, indifferent to the plight of others.

Nowadays, money is prioritized over values; relationships are deteriorating while greed escalates. I was shocked to hear news today that some supermarkets are selling expired products—issues that have even led to court cases.

If major corporations engage in such practices, it is hardly surprising when small traders do the same. Adulteration affects everything from the milk we drink daily to the food we eat; that is why consuming homemade food is best.

Yet, even the raw ingredients we bring home are often adulterated. What, then, can the common person do? Buying directly from farmers in villages is a good option, though one cannot purchase everything there.

Since today is the festival of Krishnashtami, I had the day off and spent it resting well at home. After dinner, I went for a walk, took a bath, and have now settled into bed to sleep. That concludes my day off.
