My Actifit Report Card: August 5 2026

Every child ever growing up would have thought at least a single time of becoming an astronaut. Why I am bringing this topic now to this article is that today in our office, one of our colleagues had brought his son to the office.

The boy is about 7 or 8 years I think. After roaming sometime in the office, the boy grabs a chair and sits beside his father. The boy is talking about the smartphone his father owns and on the same topic I asked him what do you want to become when you grow up.

After a minute of thinking, he told me that he wanted to become an engineer and wanted to create games for children. I thought, ok his vision looks relatable as he is just a child now. But, when I was a child I used to hear I wanted to be an astronaut, doctor, or engineer.

When the boy gave me a specific role he wanted in his life i was surprised. Then I asked "don't you wanna be an astronaut," he said not now. To which I concluded that previously he wanted to go for it too.

Talking with some children wakes up our thinking capability as explaining something to a child is not easy and brought back a lot of memories when we were children. It was a fun filled time spent with that enthusiastic kid.

Coming to my daily activity I walked early in the morning and a little bit of a busy day at work with simple daily activities and a pleasant dinner I wrapped up the day.
