Cold Day at the Pool: January 13 2025

Cold Day.

There was even rain forecasted for today. Last night, I thought of messaging the resort to ask if it ever it would rain today, would I be able to move our booking.

We were all set yesterday-- booking has been made, and we also pre-ordered some food. And today is the day that we finally went to the pool after many weeks of Little Man asking for it. Oh, he's been asking to go to the pool since October. Lol.

Our booking is from 8:00am to 4:00pm, and boy, the kids truly had made every minute count. They started swimming as soon as we arrived. The adults were all in awe at how they were able to endure the biting cold water. 🥶

After getting that much-needed courage to take the plunge, I finally joined them.

Oh, I have to say that we were the only guests in the resort today. Lol. Apart from it being a super cold and windy day, it is also a weekday, so it just made sense.

We made a whirlpool!

What?! There was this small round pool that the kids were able to convert to a whirlpool by walking around it. I joined them there for a few rounds, and yes, we were able to make strong currents.

It was so strong. It could literally carry us around.

We left close to 4:00pm. I told you, we really made every minute count. 😉

We all had a great time. I forgot to ask when we checked out if it was possible to come with pool only access, not needing a cottage. There's a pool near our home, walking distance, but we really didn't like the experience last time. But here at the Malibiran Farm and Resort, despite being a bit pricey, and the pool actually being very simple, with no slides or whatever, we still liked it better. It's also still close to home.
