Mr Fox was hanging around in my sons garden again this week. He's not looking particularly well at the moment, so I hope he recovers.
The weather was very mixed today, drizzling for times and then hot sun for other times.
After my first shift, I went out for my usual Tuesday run. Today, I was going to start my training plan, but I still haven't recovered from the hilly half marathon that I did on Sunday. My plan was to do a total of 9.6 km made up of a warm-up, a 40-minute fartlek session and and a warm down.
As soon as I left the house and started my warm-up, I knew that wasn't going to happen as my legs were feeling really tired. It wasn't a complete disaster, though, as I still managed a 10km easy run. Bit of a shame that I've skipped my first speed session, but it's probably best I don't push things too hard too soon.
