Greetings my friends and all lovers of physical activities all over the world. Welcome to my Actifit Report for Tuesday the 16/6/2026. I think the FIFA world cup has come alive now. With many matches being played, the real contenders of the coveted crown is showing up.

Take a bow Lionel Messi and the Argentine national team!!! It was indeed a masterclass performance from the eight-time Ballon d'Or winner and current champions Argentina as they easily rolled over their opponent - Algeria (3-0) with Messi scoring all three goals (a hatrick). Some pieces of history was also made after the match. Messi became the oldest player to score a hat-trick at a World Cup. He also became the first player to appear in six World Cups and has also taken his World Cup finals goal tally to 16 - moving him level with Germany's Miroslav Klose as the all-time leading scorer in the competition's history.

Senegal who famously beat the Les Bleus in the opening game of the 2002 World Cup, with the late Papa Bouba Diop scoring the only goal of the game was also aiming to replicate that heroics in this year's edition. However, it turned out to be a different scenario for them as France beat Senegal (4-1) with Kylian Mbappe scoring two goals on the night. That's two losses for Africa.
Kylian Mbappe scored twice in second half to become France's all-time leading scorer (58), one clear of former record holder Olivier Giroud.
That's it for now. Thanks for reading up to this point. Until next time, I say, keep exercising.
