I heard a crunching sound when I walked on the grass this morning. The temperature had dropped below freezing overnight and a thin layer of ice had formed on the grass.
I felt happy to be out in the fresh air, despite the cold. I walked to the COOP for my weekly healthy grocery shopping. I was glad to have the chance to get out of the house and stretch my legs. Walking is one of my routine things to do, as I am trying to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
When I noticed the hoarfrost on the trees and bushes. So, I took some photos of the frosty scene and close-up's through my OnePlus 9 Pro. The frost looked like delicate white lace on the trees and bushes. It was beautiful. I walked around for a while taking photos of the frosty scenery.
@ilma-ansari was very excited to explain frost formation. My daughter Ilma is the glory of our house. And when she starts talking, she talks a lot. She continued, when the temperature drops below freezing, water on the ground surface can turn into ice. This process is called frost formation. Ice crystals in the frost form this texture which can make the frost appear sharp and spiky. Frost is actually made up of billions of tiny ice crystals. When conditions are right, these ice crystals can form on objects like trees, flowers, and even grass blades.
The type of frost that Ilma described is called hoarfrost. It is a beautiful but delicate phenomenon that only happens under specific conditions.
Every Sunday I share my weight and measurements. As for the diet, I'm 22 days in and I've completely given up sugar. Bread and rice are also not part of my diet. Due to extreme cold, my walking target is not being fulfilled. But I stay fresh and that's enough for me. Yes! There has definitely been a reduction in weight and size by a few cms.
But as soon as there is any substantial change, I will share it with you Hiverians.
