Warm greetings to everyone.π€πΈ
I hope you are all doing well, staying healthy, motivated, and full of positive energy, and your days are full of joy, peace, and little moments that make you smile. πβ¨π
Today was the last fast (roza) of the blessed month of Ramadan. Tomorrow, Muslims in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Iran, and many other countries will celebrate Eid ul-Fitr, marking the end of this sacred month.
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and one of the most important months for Muslims. Muslims fast from dawn till sunset during this month, which means they abstain from food, drink, and other physical needs. The word "Ramadan" comes from the Arabic root word "ramad," which means "scorching heat or dryness." It symbolizes the burning away of sins through fasting and devotion.
Ramadan isn't just about not eating. It's a month of spiritual reflection, self-control, increased prayer, and giving to others. During this time, Muslims read the Quran, pray, and work on being patient and thankful to strengthen their relationship with Allah.
Eid ul-Fitr means "The Celebration of Breaking the Fast." It's a joyous occasion marking the conclusion of Ramadan. On this day, Muslims come together for special prayers, visit family and friends, exchange gifts, and share festive meals. It's a time for gratitude, happiness, and togetherness.
Before the Eid prayers, Muslims give Fitrana, a mandatory charity. This ensures that everyone, including the less fortunate, can celebrate Eid with dignity.
Zakat is one of the five pillars of Islamβa required donation to help the poor and needy. Many Muslims prefer to give Zakat during Ramadan for the extra spiritual rewards, although it's not mandatory to give it only in Ramadan.
Ramadan teaches us about being patient, having self control, being kind, and being thankful. We learn to understand what people who are less fortunate are going through and try to help them. Fasting makes us appreciate the things we usually take for granted, like food, water, family, and health.
Tomorrow is Eid ul-Fitr, and we celebrate not only the end of fasting but also the spiritual growth we've made this month. It's a time to thank Allah for giving us the strength to finish this journey and to pray for people all over the world who are in pain.
I hope this Eid brings everyone peace, happiness, wealth, and blessings. May Allah accept our prayers, fasts, and good deeds.
