Grateful for another 365 days in my life (A bored one 😓)
Hurryyyyyy! Happy birthday to me, am grateful to God for the gift of life and for him adding another beautiful year to me. Its a thing of joy that I saw today, even though life has not been fair but in everything am sincerely grateful to God for life and seeing me through on this journey of life.
Today is like every other day in my life, i have not celebrated my birthday for once, not had a loud or small party before not that if i see the opportunity that I won't jump on it, but on some days I do personally self treat, a little. So all through today i have been thanking my source and creator for granting me an opportunity like this to be in the land of the living. I was indoor today except when I went to my health care personnel to take my medication.
Do you know that I didn't make my birthday today public, i didn't post on an social media page, so nobody called or messaged to wish me a happy birthday, not even from hubby, parents, siblings or loved ones. I was not happy at all, because nobody remembered my day. Not that am angry with them for not celebrating my day with me, am use to it and very much fine with it.
As if they all knew that this year birthday i have planned to keep it much private, solemn and quite because I lost someone dear to me to the cold hands of death, he showed a fatherly love beyond measures even though the time we spent together wasn't much but it was memorable. So am using this day to honour my father in-law and may his gentle soul rest in peace.
In everything am sincerely grateful to God for being there for me, his unconditional love and for the gift of life he bestowed to me and I know one or two friends here will wish me a happy birthday because I have taken you all as my family and am glad to be in this great community, Hive as a platform has given me the privilege to celebrate and share my happy and sad moments here.
