The First Thing I’d Do If I Struck It Rich

The major reason many of us step out on a daily basis and set out for work is so we can make ends meet and earn as much money as possible to sustain ourselves and our family needs. So peradventure on one faithful day we go to work and end up earning so much money to the point where such can sustain us throughout our lifetime, I'm sure we'll be excited, and this can lead to us taking several actions to turn our lives around for good. If I were to find myself in that situation, there are a handful of things I'd most likely do first, but below is what would most definitely be the first.

To start with, it's worth noting that having such a huge amount of money that would be enough to sustain me and my family throughout my life is nothing short of exciting, and I'll be super happy, which can lead me to delving into a shopping sphere; I'm sure anyone would do the same. And in such situations there are different things people can buy; some nights they decide to first visit an exclusive restaurant and buy a meal, others could take a luxury trip to visit some mind-blowing world infrastructure or tourist attraction, some could purchase a business outright, and so on and so forth.

But for me, would I be going for any of those? Well, my answer is no. While I understand that they're all great, I still won't be going for them but will be going for what first came to my mind immediately when I saw the prompt, even though I understand how buying an already existing business can stand as an opportunity to go on to multiple things I already have at hand. So what then would I be buying for? Well, it's no other thing but a house. Yes, you read that correctly; I'd be buying a house, but not just a house, but a fully furnished house with astonishing ambience, serene envisioning, and state-of-the-art infrastructure.

I'm sure you'll be wondering why I'm buying a house first. Well, I guess it's because it was what first came to mind when I saw this prompt, and it's probably top on the list of my desires presently, which I'm also working towards, but I know how time-consuming it is to build a house, and I'm not forgetting about the stress involved in picking various items to make the building stand out, so rather than going through the trouble of buying land, building with brick, sand, and other necessities, I'd just find a fully furnished house that I can move into with my family.

I've come to learn that there's a kind of joy and freedom that comes from living in your own house rather than living in a rented apartment, regardless of if you're the only tenant in such a building. I desire that feeling, and that's why if I were to have such a huge amount of money, this is what I'd be buying first with it.
