Going to work daily can be really exhausting and most times you find yourself wishing you aren't going to work on a particular day, and that day is usually Mondays, in most cases you find yourself at work looking at the wall clock regularly, anticipating eagerly for a break time and closure time.
I have found myself in this situation over and over again, I work in a school with numerous students, although I'm not a teacher, I work at the front desk and I'm also a secretary.
My first year at work was so exhausting and I was disorganized daily , I was finding it so difficult to meet up to deadlines, submit necessary papers, arrange schemes for classes, type test/examination papers and many other activities.
Everyday was full of stress, I complained daily and almost resigned from job, but then I remembered I had bills to pay.
I was so forgetful because I had numerous jobs to do at the office.
At this point , I developed an habit/hack that made my daily work smoother, which was PLANNING AND PROPER TIME MANAGEMENT.
TIME MANAGEMENT is a deliberate and conscious effort to organize, PLAN and set your activities or tasks to be achieved within a particular period of time. You can't manage your time without planning .
Planning and time management works hand in gloves, proper planning will enable you manage your time properly, inculcating this two habits into your daily work day will make your day and week go smoothly and very organized.
TIME MANAGEMENT AND PLANNING will enhance productivity at your workplace, you will find yourself very productive, you will finish task before the given deadlines and that would give you more time to attend to other activities and duties.
Finishing works before deadlines, makes your day really smooth and enjoyable, because you now have time for other activities after work.
When I began time management and planning, before 6th week of resumption, I would be done with activities in the 9th week, making me work at ease and carrying less pressure.
TIME MANAGEMENT AND PLANNING, fixed the relationship I had with my Administrator, it really change the way I was seen and respected at my workplace.
One of the things that makes us complain of bad days at work is usually having a poor relationship with our management. And this usually occurs when we don't satisfy them. When your manager has bad records about you and your attitude towards work it can ruin your entire day at work.
Try planning and you would have a good relationship with your employee.
And most importantly, time management and planning will also give you enough free time, it would give you enough time for yourself and other activities that you might want to achieve, without interfering with your work hours or schedules. You could keep teo jobs if you are able to manage your time and plan.
TIME MANAGEMENT AND PLANNING will also help you achieve your goals quickly and build your confidence at work place. Planning helps in breaking down huge task , makes them achievable and attainable, executing them as fast and easy as you can will make you more confidence in yourself and your ability.
TIME MANAGEMENT AND PLANNING will also help in building a disciplined attitude , it really helped me in being disciplined and more focused on achieving my goal and task for the week. Time management and planning improves and promote self discipline.
The daily work habit/hack, that makes my workday smooth and enjoyable is a daily routine of managing my time and planning effectively daily. Planning and Time Management, will really impact your daily life.
