There was this movie I saw some time ago and I'm reminded of the storyline when I saw this prompt topic. The movie started with a main character being told by her doctor that she has just few months to live but not sure when exactly. The doctor was expecting some tears with words of regret and pains but the lady smiled at him and asked if she can do whatever she wanted for the next months she has to live.
The doctor with a surprised face says she should minimize some unhealthy meals so to keep her longer, the lady smiled happily and walked away to her house. Until close to the end of the movie, this lady didn't show it even by mistake that she's dying soon.

Why did I begin my response to the prompt with that movie's storyline? That is because it is literally what I'll do if I am the one in such position. I've learned a lot to know that our fears and regrets kills even faster than the disease or illness that is said to end our lives soon. Of course, I'm afraid of death, we all are but it is that one thing no one can escape when it's time, we can only pray for longer life span.
If I have just 24 hours to live? I'd rather end things on a good note.
First of all, I won't let anyone know until the death time is close because I can't afford to see my loved ones being all gloomy until I am finally taken so I'd act as normal as I can, do all the things I have always wanted to do but couldn't because I was competing with time. Honestly, I really do think this prompt is teaching me more than it is just said. I need to make more use of my time on myself.
Seeing the question, I'm realising I don't give much time to what I need, what I want to achieve and how far I want to go with my life. With the time limitation, I'm reminded of all the fun things I had always wanted to do and the places I've always to visit. Will that be possible within 24 hours? No, except there's so much money.
So if I can't afford to do all I want in the few hours I've got, I'd do all the little things I've always neglected doing but gives me joy to do them. Those things that won't put smiles on my face alone but also on the face of others.
If there's more time before my family time, I'd do all my fun activities over... See movies, chat with friends, eat my favourite meal and smile as much as possible.
But the main thing l'd like to do are...
Singing my heart out. I enjoy singing but I bet I will sing even more and they will all be praises to God Almighty who gives and takes lives. Who knows? Praises move God and there's nothing God can not do... Yeah, I'll be hopeful that things might change because let's face it, we are all scared of death no matter how relaxed we may look about such a news.
I'll give something special for each of my family members. Even if they are the most cheapest things to buy, I'll get them something that I know would make them feel happy and special to me. I am still building that habit in me to do more whenever I get the chance for each of them, it's one of my life's goal to keep doing that, not until I'm near death hehe.
I'll spend my last moments with my family. Having them around without revealing my death time might be a little difficult if everyone is busy but I'm sure I could pull some strings to get them together and we talk about the old times and how far we've come as a family. I want to see them smiling with tears in their eyes as well as mine as I say goodbye to the world... That would be asking for more than enough, it's all the pleasure I'd need.
Thought it will be a bit difficult to stay calm knowing that one has just 24 hours left. Your methods up there will be such a great way to say goodbye to one's family.
Yeah, I imagined it to be difficult too but then, we do see how that makes matters worse than actually solve it 🥲
Yeah, it is better well spent creating good memories with loved ones. !luv

Sounds like you plan to have a day of your life. Well, that’s what it’s meant to be and it’s good to see you plan everything out so well😅
Oh yeah! But we never know what the reality of what we say can be 😂
That’s very true
This is deep but I don't pray we found ourselves in this kind of situation soon.
Yeah, we don't pray for such at all 🙂
Coincidentally when I saw the question, that was the same movie that came to my mind 😂. And I will do the same, no time crying and thinking, wasting the remaining time I have left.
Exactly o my dear, you'll only have more regrets if you use all the time left to cry 😂
Have you seen HELLBOUND?
It's as krazy as this prompt lol😄
Lol really? Maybe I'll check it out 🙂
I love the part you said you won't let your family know until it is very close, it shows how selfless you are.
And true, we need to do that we love, death ends all man, something must surely kill a man at the end of the day.
Spending it with those we love will make our last days on the earth the best days.
I enjoyed reading as always baby girl.
Yeah, I can imagine them crying all day if they know the time 🥲 even I will join them and cry through out the 24 hours 😂
This is really really true, fear kills faster than even the illness, I remember one time when HIV was more like a death sentence in Nigeria here and my friend's company conducted a routine test for them, and her result was mistakenly switched with another staff's own, when the news was broken to her, within some few days she became so lean before she did a repeat test and got to know that it was a mistake.
#dreemerforlife
That is exactly what I'm saying, the fear kills more 🥲
All those people who conduct test and give wrong results self, they could become murders o
Who isn't scared of death??😂
I fully agree with you. Letting your family members know about your limited time to live won't do any good at all. It's will much better to hide it from them and spend the day as the usual YOU. Though it won't be easy to stay calm, knowing that one's end is near.
Spending the last moments with family will make one very happy not minding what might happen in the next few seconds. That last moments will remain evergreen in their hearts.
For sure 👍🤣.
#Dreemerforlife.
Haha no one o, everyone wants to live.
It's never easy, just imagining it alone. We pray just won't be our case, we will live to old age and die happy 🙏
Lol I couldn't skip that singing part o 😁
Of course I know 😃😃
How can merittttttttt not sing..even in the grave she will continue to sing haha 😆
