Flowers Blooming Under the Moonlight (acrylic painting)
Apart from being too busy to paint, another reason I haven't been doing so is that I'm running out of art materials. My acrylic markers are drying up, and I've almost used up my final bottles of acrylic paint. Well, I still have my tiny watercolor tubes and watercolor pencils, though.
However, my parents gifted me with art materials! Well, I still don't have them since I just ordered them (more acrylic paint), but I may receive them sometime this week. <3 And because of that, I decided to paint a little something after my last class earlier tonight.
These are random flowers blooming under the moonlit sky. :)
For this artwork, I used acrylic paint on a 10 x 10 cm watercolor paper. For my paint, I only have the primary colors (red, blue, and yellow), as well as white and black... then, I just mix them whenever I want to use a different color.

At first, I thought of creating flowers under the sun, so I mixed blue and white... but I changed my mind and wanted it to be under the moonlight, so I added a tiny drop of yellow, creating this background. It's something in between teal and turquoise. (I paint, but I don't know the actual names of colors... It's by feeling. lol)

It's a cloudy night sky with just the moon illuminating the whole place. I also created the outline of the stems and leaves.
The background is too dark, so I outlined the flowers with white paint to make the colors stand out.
I just used red, orange, and pink to color the flowers... They're just random flowers, but aren't they pretty? haha
Using a white gel pen, I wrote my username, signature, and the date today... and it's done! I still need to remove the masking tape around it.

Yeah, don't mind me... I'm a bit tired and sleepy. hahaha Painting helped me relax after work tonight, so it's all good.

What a lovely drawing! Painting with acrylic paints is so relaxing š I've also had materials that have dried out or gotten damaged because I couldn't use them right away š¢ so, it's good to check them constantly š I'm glad your parents got you new supplies. I'll be keeping an eye on what you do with them š¤š

Yeah... It's indeed really relaxing... That's why even though I'm enjoying practicing digital painting, I still can't stop creating things the traditional way. ^^ In my case, I've used up all of them, so they ran out of juice. xD Because I always think twice before buying stuff for myself, so they did it for me.
