As we know and realize, the world is changing because of AI. We can't deny that AI evolves too fast, and its development grows exponentially. There were many people, companies, or organizations that started spending money to develop AI that they believed would be great for them in the future. This resulted in many new AI developments being started.

AI actually started long ago. But only the technology of computing has boosted its development until now. Personally, as a freelance photographer, I cant say I hate AI, and I actually don't love it as much either. But AI has helped a lot with my scope of work and made things easier.

For example, with an AI-generated photo, I can get as many ideas as I want and put them into life. Our minds were limited by the ideas that we could think. In the old days, we would look for ideas on Google, which was the same thing we do in AI, looking for ideas. The only difference between them was that AI gave a lot of detail about the idea and put it on a photo based on what we wanted. And it can be done much faster, which saves us time.

The new AI features in many editing software and websites have made it easier to edit, subtract, and generate things that we want in our photos. Long time ago, we had a hard time getting the source photo from StockPhoto and editing it into Photoshop, blend it, and make it realistic. Now, it can be done by just hitting the button generate.

It's also the same with getting rid of the blurry image. There are a lot of AI websites that can help us with it. One of my favorite websites to do this is FOTOR. It's also the same with video editing. For example, with the AI that is being developed in Davinci Resolve (I recently joined their workshop), with only a click of the mouse, you can select and track the video that you want to edit, and it's super simple; even the newbie can do it.

An AI-powered camera helps the photographer or videographer in their work; for example, it automatically adjusts settings like exposure, focus, and white balance in real-time, making it unlikely that a novice can operate the expensive camera. AI tracking also gives the videographer time to save their breath by helping them track their subjects inside the camera.

But as a photographer, I cant rely 100% on AI because we are humans. The perfection of AI will kill the sense of human in our photo. What I can do now is keep learning about technology to bring it in our favor. I mean, this was just like what happened when the digital camera was introduced with the analog camera. Those who didn't learn will continue to be left behind.
