Today I'm going to talk about the Crustacean King card, so join me on this brief journey of knowledge in Splinterlands.
In Splinterlands, battles with low mana are common, so cards like the Crustacean King are essential because their mana cost is low, making them very useful in battles.

This is the Crustacean King, a Common Card from the Water Deck. The Crustacean King isn't a very useful card when it comes to dealing damage, but it has two great abilities to help allies in battles.
The Crustacean King's abilities are: Tank Heal and Protect.

Tank Heal: Each round, restores 1/3 of max health (rounded down) to the allied unit in the first position.
Healing abilities are very useful in battles because they help allied cards survive longer, and this is a great strategy in Splinterlands.

Protect: +2 armor to all allied units. Armor is very useful in battles for allied cards to defend against melee and ranged attacks.
Unfortunately, the Crustacean King has low health and low attack speed, so it's a card that can be easily defeated if it's the main target of enemy attacks, but it's still a great choice for battles.
Now let's see how the Crustacean King performs in battle.

I'll use this battle as an example, and in it I only had 19 mana available, so the Crustacean King is a great option, mainly because the Lost Magic rule was in effect.

Lost Magic: You cannot summon units with magic attacks.
With this battle rule, the Protect ability becomes even more useful because the armor will protect against all enemy attacks. My opponent didn't use a good strategy, so the battle was easy, but this is a good example of how useful the Crustacean King is in battles.
Strategies are essential in Splinterlands, and the Crustacean King perfectly combines two types of strategies that I really like to use in my battles: healing and protecting my allied cards.

Now I'll talk about the Arcade Colony platform. On it, you'll find the games: Splinterlands, Moon Karts, StakeHouse Den, and Genesis League Goals.
For those unfamiliar with Arcade Colony, it's owned by Invennium Corp. Arcade Colony is a platform for arcades and video games with a functional economy based on a governance token, "COLONY", and a product-backed stablecoin called "SCRIPT".
Invennium Corp. is a 100% subsidiary of Splinterlands.
