Today looking through my photo archive I came across several photos taken on the side of the road.

I admit that there are countries where the road services work so well that such a concept as a roadside simply does not exist there, but where I was born and where I live today the roadside is a bright contrast between the road and the wild nature lol.

Perhaps that is why in our area the word obochina has become a household word or something where you don’t want to end up.

Yes, it happened that wanting to make a stop on the way I drove the car to the side of the road and fell into some hole that should not have been there at all but it was there regardless of how I imagined it.

I once pushed my car out of the mud on the side of the road with great difficulty the worst thing is when this happens after visiting a car wash.

On the side of the road, as a rule there is quite a lot of garbage where it flows together with the streams of rain, where some motorists and passengers throw it and the garbage that ends up there naturally for example fruits and leaves of nearby growing trees but both man-made and natural garbage are considered garbage without specifying its origin.

And all this ends up on the side of the road... together with dreams if we too ended up on the side of the road.

When I was at school we had one old teacher who spraying saliva shouted at the students, saying that they would end up on the side of life if they did not learn her subject.

But you know, even without these curses that spewed from her lips all of us including her have to spend a large part of our lives on the side of the road for example waiting for our public transport to arrive because any stop is on the side of the road.

People who use such epithets think very flatly and it doesn't matter whether they are professors or ordinary teachers they don't understand that the shoulder is an opportunity to end up on one side of the road or the other.

If you always walk on the asphalt, you won't see how beautiful the world is beyond the road markings and you will always obey the strict traffic rules and there beyond the shoulder begins a huge world of rules established by God not by man.

There were moments in life when even having a good income but not having God in my heart I felt like trash on the side of the road... although no at that time for me ending up on the side of the road would have been an acquisition and then I was content with the asphalt.

Finding yourself on the side of the road it seems to me is an acquisition because only there can you begin to rethink your life understand your mistakes and find something more than I had before that moment.

Of course the side of the road is a temporary shelter and the sooner you make a choice in which direction to move towards the road in the opposite direction or along the side of the road a lot depends on my future life but I made my choice.

The strangest thing is that people like that teacher for example never left the shoulder or rather they stood with one foot on the shoulder and with the other foot tried to keep themselves on the asphalt allowing the system to drive over their feet and they considered it normal.

But if there were no such garbage in our lives perhaps I would not be able to rethink many things.

It's good that there are shoulders with deep puddles in which you can see the endless sky and seeing this make the right decision regarding the further direction of movement.
