HPUD March 2025 - Powered up 1000 Hive
It is now time for another power-up as today is the power-up day of the month. Anyone can do power ups on any day, but doing it on the first of every month makes it special as it is celebrated as Hive Power Up Day. I'm very glad that I was able to power up 1000 Hive today as a part of HPUD. These days I don't power up much but I still maintain a minimum power up every month. But something made me feel that I should power up at least a minimum of 1000 this month, and that's why I did 1000 Hive this month.
One major reason why I was able to do that big power up was because I have a lot of liquid now as I'm powering down @balaz account. I would like to keep the liquid Hive as it is because I want to wait for an opportunity and convert it to HBD when the price of Hive pumps.
With this power up I have reached a total of 130k Hive power in my primary account. I would like to keep going and reach 150k Hive power before the end of the year. I don't have a strong goal but I would like to keep this as a soft goal and achive this. Having goals is good to keep the motivation going to keep powering up more Hive. I also believe that booking profits at the right time is also important, along with increasing Hive power.
The above image is the proof that I'm consistently growing my account with power ups every month. I should say that this is the best investment that I'm doing for my future. Hopefully the price of Hive improves in the coming years as many projects are coming on Hive one by one. There are also some marketing efforts happening in many places.
I'm very happy to see the curation rewards increasing, which is the true passive income that someone can earn from Hive. I have skipped writing many days in the last month. So my author rewards might get affected a little bit, but otherwise I think it is still a decent value. These days I'm missing writing on many days. I think it is okay because I don't push myself very hard into writing. If I want to take a break on some days, I take it light.
It appears that if I have to reach 150k Hive power before the end of the year, I think I should be powering up at least a minimum of 2000 Hive per month in total. The witness earning rewards is also helping. I mostly power down those rewards and move them to my main account and power them up there.
