Simple Request That’s Important To Her: A Book That Will Nurture Her Curiosity.

I will share with you our book hunting with Aya. This happened last Friday. It was an ordinary afternoon when my Aya requested a book. Honestly our target was to buy her hiking shoes for their school trip.

While walking going to the shop, we passed by in the bookshop. Her eyes was full of excitement. And asked me with her gentle voice that "Mama, can I have a book? I want a new book mama and I want to read. She's reading a book. Especially a Slovak story book and her understanding in Slovak language would be deeper.

For a moment, it was a small and meaningful request. Out of anything she could ask for like toys, clothes or food and she wants a book. Who can't say no to her. After her great performance in her recital. She deserves a gift. And of Of course, I said to Aya. She hugged me and said thank you mama.

That simple moment meant a lot to me and it felt like magic. It's a reminder that sometimes the most profound joys in motherhood come from simple requests.

Then finally, we arrived at Diderot Bookstore. The atmosphere was inviting, I familiar and comforting smell scent of paper and ink. She moved carefully from each book section. And she was searching for the book that she liked.

And then she finally found the shelf that held "Ballad Of Sword And Wine: Qiang Jim Jui and it's a novel book. She picked up and said Mama I found what I want. I could see the pride in her face and the excitement of holding a book.

At that moment she found it, for it it's not just a book. It was about her curiosity, she has her own likes, growing her sense of identity. She wants to connect with the book. And she just told me “it's about fantasy and romance mama.” All I can say, what do you know about romance? Before having her new book she's reading Wattpad.

As I paid for the book, she was so happy.
She has her new treasure-a book.

Motherhood is filled with big milestones from our kid's first steps, first words, birthdays, school activities, achievements and more. But I realize that it’s also these simple requests that leave the deepest imprint on our hearts. My daughter Aya's wish for a book reminded me that motherhood isn’t just about providing or guiding. It is also about noticing. Noticing the things that light up our children’s interest, the things that they like passion, and the things that help them grow. Grow into the people they are meant to be. To know more about themselves.

As the mom of Aya, I also felt grateful. Grateful that I bought her a book. A simple book that would feed her mind and soul. And also I am grateful that I could fulfil her request. And grateful that in the modern world of technology, she has screen time too but she chooses a book. A book that will feed her mind and know. It's a fantasy and romance but those words that print on the book will help her more understand the meaning of it.

I promise to myself I will always support you with my love. And I will always treasure your small requests that make you happy. It's not only me who will support you. You have us, your family.

It was about the memory we made that day, it's the bond we deepened. Motherhood is included in the simple moment. It's a small act that makes a big impact. And I'm so blessed to you in my life. Your my deepest why.

My daughter request taught me that moments or gestures that shows love that shines and speak more. But in the small acts that shape our children’s future. I'm thankful that your my daughter and I the opportunity to nurture and love you more When we got home, I searched about the book and it's a novel. A fantasy, comics, historical fiction and romance novel.
