LAMP OF WISHES

I wish you were here with me, I wish you weren't so far away, I love you so much, but hate the distance between us. I really wish I would open my eyes to see you wishing the same thing as me. I can imagine us holding this light chandelier, with our wish in our hearts, smiling as it lights up our hearts the same way you light up my world. I want to be where you are, and I want you to be where I am, but then wishes aren't horses.

Neggi thought to herself holding the light chandelier that felt heavy at the beginning. Noticing it no longer feels heavy, she opens her eyes only to see Louis standing right at her front holding the other part of the chandelier. Their eyes met as it looked like they were both opening it at the same time because that was exactly what happened. For some reason they were not surprised, as they stood there smiling at each other for what looked like forever.

It was just like I imagined; they both said at the same time. I've always wanted to celebrate your special day with you my love; Louis said smiling at her. And I've always wanted you by my side as a birthday present I could only wish for; Neggi said chuckling to herself.

Hey lady your time is up, it's my turn to hold the lamp of wishes; A voice startled Neggi, bringing her out of her mystery. Her once happy face became saddened with the realization that the lamp just gives her illusion of what she wishes for the most.
