I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #944 - An Alive Tribe Update, and HPUD Incoming! - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Wednesday, February 26, 2025

I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Given that a few things went awry around the same time with certain Alive Tribe functionality, I wanted to give the community an update as to what's been happening over the past few weeks. Most of you have likely noticed that the Alive Tribe outpost website went down (due to an expired domain name) about two weeks ago. We do have a new domain name, wearealivetribe.com, which Bjorn (@borniet) will use to set up the Alive Tribe outpost once again, when he's able to find the time to do it, time being the main issue, since he's been very busy in his home and work life as of late. We all hoped and intended to get our outpost set up on the new site way sooner, but that's unfortunately not how it flowed. We don't have an ETA yet on it, other than to say as soon as possible.

Some of you also might have noticed that there was a hiccup with the daily @aliveandthriving posts yesterday. This occurred because Rosyel's (@iamraincrystal) monitor died on the computer that she used to do the posts. Ben (@benthomaswwd) saw what happened, and scrambled to get the post done and published, which he did successfully do, just a bit later than usual. Now that he's aware of the issue, the posting schedule should run smoothly until Rosyel is able to get a new monitor. Thank you so much again, Ben! You came to the rescue, and it is deeply appreciated!

Regarding reinstating daily dividend payouts for both liquid and staked ALIVE, it will be implemented as soon as Bjon has the time (yep, time is a thing). Thankfully the payout script is just about done, so it won't take long once Bjorn is able to get back to it. I'm hoping that we'll be able to get the community outpost, and the daily dividend payouts, up and running again around the same time, so that I'll be able to make an official announcement for them both.

Since Bjorn is our only (very) capable coder at the moment, we're on his schedule, so sometimes we need to patiently wait for a bit. Because of this, I'm feeling compelled to make the time to get back to learning the relevant coding skills myself, that would allow me to assist and help move things along, in a way that I presently can't. Python, that's where I'll be starting. I'm so curious how my mind will take to this language, but knowing me, I don't think that it will take me too long to get myself up to speed. Two coders in the same project would be a very good thing indeed.

The March HPUD is tomorrow (in my time zone anyway), and I'll be ready to power up just under 40 HIVE, which is a fair bit fewer than usual, but I'm grateful to be able to participate regardless. The smaller amount of HIVE is partially due to me having a much more challenging time this month to remain in the top three on the Ecency Weekly Leaderboard. I'm lower in the list than I've been in ages, and for a notably longer period of time. This HPUD powerup should give me the boost that I need to surpass 9,000 HP near the end of the week, to wkich I'm very much looking forward. Then I'll 'only' have 6,000 to go to reach my 2025 Hive goal of 15,000 Hive Power.

Yesterday, Wednesday, I left the Flow House, once I had finished up my Hive tasks, around 2:30PM, putting my attention first on some photography for these posts, and for my entry in the Shadow Hunters Contest, before going to collect a wheelbarrow full of assorted edible foliage for cow-milking food. With cow food done, I took a shower, and a quick asset-management break up at the Flow House, and then I devoted some more time to salvaging two more wheelbarrows full of plants from my newer, derilict nursery, transporting them across the property, to then give them more focused care, and to find places for them, in my older, original nursery behind the Landing. It's feeling really good to finally be getting this done. After I finished up in my nursery just before sunset, I cleaned up in the Landing, collected my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge, and then I made my way back up to to the Flow House, to get into my evening Hive tasks. I got everything done by about 10:30PM, and after writing and publishing My Entry for Shadow Hunters Community Contest/Show Me a Shadow: Round 362 - Mossy Lava-Rock Shadows, doing some asset management, and scanning my X feed, I went to bed just after 12PM. I woke up just before 7:30AM, after having slept fairly well, doing more asset management, then getting out of bed to go make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, before returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 12:45PM, so a marvelous time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to first give my attention to photography for these posts, straining and blending kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao), and then community/land work. 2025 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
