Rethinking Roles: Shared Responsibilities, Shared Benefits
I'm not so conversant with the whole saga about gender equity but on a simpler level and understanding, it just doesn't make sense for me. I just think it's our human instincts to compete, win and not be in the less anywhere we find ourselves that brought up the whole saga today.
Nobody wants to feel less, left out or of no value but we forget to understand that we are all different even if we remove the gender clear fact. As a human, there are so many things you can do and be a great person to whoever values what you do, there are so many things you can't do too.
Not being able to do things doesn't make you less of a human, it means it's totally fine to get help from who can do it and there is honestly no need to feel like you're losing in that aspect when you know you're winning in the things you can do and even do better. Living is not a competition.
In my opinion, gender equality is just a brand name to run away from our responsibilities as the person and gender we are. If only we would go back to just how God has created and made the world before He said it was good, we would have less to say about being equal with one another.
I believe God saw this coming when He gave clear roles to both genders right from the making of man to the punishment He gave after man's first sin. Fighting for equality today is like going against God's plan for mankind. But if I am to be honest, there are actually bothersome reasons.
Reasons people especially, the women push for equality in our society today, is because a lot of men are neglecting their roles as a man. Although women also fail to play their roles giving them time to dare taking up men's role and vice versa. It's a sad realization but that's just it.
We want to be equal with each other because we find faults in each other playing our roles. When a man can't work to take care of his family, the woman might want to step in and when a woman is failing to manage the home, the man might want to step in. A wrong pressure will then begin.
But if only every person would decide to think and know what their roles are as a man or a woman, this is where "shared responsibilities, shared benefits" comes in. I believe if a man and a woman does their parts well, that is equality at it's peak and such a communal would be strong.
Even the Bible have said women are a weaker vessels but called the same women helpers to their husbands in the home. Anybody who have been in charge of managing the home know better how uneasy that is, making it clear that women are not as weak as we believe it to be.
Women are a weaker vessel when they try to usurp authority from men who God has made head over her, this is where the weakness comes in. But imagine a woman who knows her role and plays them well, she is considered strong. Why the fight for equality when you have roles to play.
Every person should focus on their roles, love and respect other's roles, help out when they can or they are needed. No need to fight for a right that you must take over another's role that isn't meant for you right from beginning. Focusing on oneself and know how to do the right thing comes first.

I keep wondering where this world is heading to; Women want to be equal to men, Men failing in their responsibilities, and women taking up most of the responsibilities meant for Men.
What do you think could really give a woman the ego? it is because of men's failure in handling their responsibility. So when a woman steps in, she feels fulfilled, developing a sense of pride being that she could do what a man should have done. That makes her tend to rub shoulders with a man. This is actually what most people believe.
But the truth is; There is no difference between a man and a woman. Anybody can take up any responsibility. That doesn't make you weak or strong. It's just some stupid sense of pride that tends to deceive you into thinking that you are better than another.
Being a woman doesn't make you weak, and being a man doesn't make you strong. There was no responsibility kept that this has to be a man responsibility or woman responsibility. Both individuals can share responsibility and happy while finding fulfilment doing that.
Imagine a woman who has a well paid job, but she has a husband who is not working. Does that makes her better than the man? Absolutely not! While she is at work, the man can use that opportunity to perform other responsibilities by keeping the home and taking care of children. Because at the moment, that appears to be his responsibilities. Both of them can find satisfaction doing this.
Both genders have failed by thinking they have to be equal with each other, know your strength, be better at it and get help for wherever you're not strong in.
There's really no need for the equality fight if we know the right things to do.
Most men today want to be women and that has led women to take up the responsibilities of men which isn’t right.
Gender equity is to create fairness for all and the aim is to create a better society for us. Not for people to dump all their duties on others.
It's a really sad situation in our world today, and it keeps getting worse.

This is the highlight of this post for me. Women might be phrased as weaker vessels, but the truth is that we are stronger than we realize; we do so much that it pains me that some men are stepping aside to offload more responsibilities to women in the name of equality.
That's just it, we should focus on our roles and do it well.

Women and men can share equal responsibility, but there's a need for a fair share and balance between both genders, to avoid too much burden on one.
This way they grow financially, create better support for children and also gain mutual respect.

A woman wanting to be equal to her man is totally wrong, each person has its responsibilities as you stated and facing that responsibility is better.
