Fourteen years in the blink of an eye

Want to know how time flies without you even noticing? Have a child. It seems like yesterday that I was holding this little bundle of joy in my arms, but it's been almost fourteen years since then. Time really does fly, and just looking at how he's developing, I realize how quickly time passes. Not even my first gray hairs in my beard, which have been getting more and more noticeable lately, show me that as much.

Well, through my son, I am fulfilling one of my dreams: playing the drums. After three months of dedication, he is already in love with the instrument and eagerly awaits his next lesson. The teacher has constantly praised his progress, highlighting how he has evolved very quickly, despite the short time, and of course, this makes me even more proud.

I believe that in a few months, he will already be playing in a band with me. I already have a plan for that to happen. It's really just a matter of time, and the way he's going, I think it may happen faster than I imagine.

Well, today's photos are just to record my pride in this boy so that, in a few years, I can come back here and see how quickly so much time has passed. What good news awaits us?

Quer saber como o tempo passa rápido e você nem percebe? Tenha um filho. Parece que foi ontem que eu estava com esse projeto de gente no colo, mas já são quase quatorze anos desde então. Realmente, o tempo passa rápido e, só de olhar como ele está se desenvolvendo, percebo o quanto o tempo voa. Nem mesmo os meus primeiros cabelos brancos na barba, que ultimamente têm se tornado cada vez maiores, me mostram tanto.

Bem, através do meu filho, estou realizando um dos meus sonhos: tocar bateria. Com 3 meses de dedicação, ele já está apaixonado pelo instrumento e fica bem ansioso pela próxima aula. O professor tem elogiado constantemente o progresso dele, destacando como ele tem evoluído de forma muito rápida, apesar do pouco tempo, e claro, isso aumenta ainda mais meu orgulho.

Acredito que, daqui a alguns meses, ele já estará tocando em uma banda comigo. Já tenho um projeto planejado para isso acontecer. É realmente só questão de tempo, e pelo jeito que ele está indo, acho que isso pode acontecer mais rápido do que imagino.

Bem, essas fotos de hoje são apenas para deixar registrado meu orgulho por esse garoto e para que, daqui a alguns anos, eu volte aqui e veja como um piscar de olhos deixou para trás tanto tempo. Quais boas notícias nos aguardam?
