If you want to experience authentic sushi outside of Japan, Genki Sushi is the closest I'd recommend. It's a popular conveyor belt (kaiten) sushi restaurant known for its high tech ordering system and bullet train food delivery. We went to one near our place and I'm surprised that they combined some Filipino dishes in the menu like Tinola Ramen and adobo maki. There's the familiar matcha tea that you can mix with hot water in the faucet on your table. Then the food is delivered by a conveyor designed like a bullet train. The food is delicious and tastes authentic Japanese. The only complaint I have is the portions of ramen and katsudon are too small, much like a kiddie meal.
Genki sushi had their hyped time in Indonesia, but right now they are declining very fast !BBH !ALIVE !PIXY
They're expensive compared to other Japanese restaurants and as I complained, the portions are small 😀
I love sushi, it is definately one of my favourite foods to eat, can be super expensive in the UK though but i still love it.
