Last Friday, I went to my parents' house in the countryside. I love going there, the fresh air and contact with nature do me a lot of good. It's a real escape from the hectic routine of the big city, where people live on the run, surrounded by concrete buildings.

What I love most about being in the countryside is that I always find a fruit stand full of fruit. I always come home with lots of fruit that my parents lovingly give me. As soon as I arrived, I came across a jabuticaba tree full of jabuticabas. It's one of my favorite fruits, even tastier when picked and eaten straight from the tree.

The jabuticaba is a curious fruit - it grows directly from the trunk of the tree. This jabuticaba tree was planted more than 10 years ago and only started bearing fruit last year. As it is a tree that takes a long time to produce, many people prune and take special care of the mature branches, which helps to anticipate fruiting.

A curiosity: jabuticaba should not be consumed in excess, especially if you swallow the stones. This can cause difficulties with bowel movements, sometimes requiring a visit to the doctor. But even with this caution, it's a delicious fruit that only appears a few times a year. I just love jabuticaba!

Na última sexta-feira, estive na casa dos meus pais, na roça. Eu adoro ir para lá, o ar puro e o contato com a natureza me fazem muito bem. É uma verdadeira fuga da rotina agitada da cidade grande, onde as pessoas vivem na correria, cercadas por prédios de concreto.

O que mais gosto de estar no interior é que sempre encontro alguma fruteira carregada. Sempre volto para casa com muitas frutas que meus pais me dão com carinho. Assim que cheguei, me deparei com uma jabuticabeira repleta de jabuticabas. É uma das minhas frutas favoritas, ainda mais saborosa quando colhida e consumida diretamente do pé.

A jabuticaba é uma fruta curiosa — ela nasce diretamente no tronco da árvore. Essa jabuticabeira foi plantada há mais de 10 anos e só começou a dar frutos no ano passado. Como é uma árvore que demora bastante para produzir, muitas pessoas realizam podas e cuidados especiais nos galhos maduros, o que ajuda a antecipar a frutificação.

Uma curiosidade: a jabuticaba não deve ser consumida em excesso, principalmente se você engolir os caroços. Isso pode causar dificuldades para evacuar, às vezes exigindo até uma visita ao médico. Mas, mesmo com esse cuidado, é uma fruta deliciosa, que só aparece algumas vezes por ano. Eu simplesmente amo jabuticaba!
