With the craze surrounding the Minecraft movie in theaters, many stores began selling products related to the franchise. Last week, while walking through the mall, I came across a Minecraft-themed city. Right away, I thought of my brother-in-law, who is only 12 years old and is a huge fan of this square universe. In fact, we are planning to bring him here in the next few days so he can have fun with other children.

This LEGO-style world, made entirely of blocks, is a huge hit with the current generation. I myself don't really understand where these games are going — everything is so square, which goes completely against nature, where everything has curves and rounded shapes. For me, the graphics in these games are pretty ugly, they have practically no sound... So I wonder: how did something like this win over today's children so much?

Despite this, I confess that I thought the whole themed setting was really cool. I liked it so much that I even took some pictures of the block city. It's a shame that the staff were already dismantling everything to close up. Best of all, children can play for free, they just need to make a reservation in advance.

Com a febre que foi o filme do Minecraft nos cinemas, muitas lojas começaram a vender produtos relacionados à franquia. Nesta última semana, passeando pelo shopping, me deparei com uma cidade temática de Minecraft. Na hora, pensei no meu cunhado, que tem apenas 12 anos e é super fã desse universo quadrado. Inclusive, estamos planejando trazê-lo para cá nos próximos dias, para que ele possa se divertir com outras crianças.

Esse mundo estilo LEGO, todo feito de blocos, está fazendo um sucesso enorme com a geração atual. Eu mesmo não entendo muito bem para onde esses jogos estão indo — tudo é tão quadrado, o que vai totalmente contra a natureza, onde tudo tem curvas e formas arredondadas. Para mim, os gráficos desses jogos são bem feios, praticamente não têm som... Então fico me perguntando: como algo assim conquistou tanto as crianças de hoje?

Apesar disso, confesso que achei bem legal toda essa ambientação temática. Gostei tanto que até tirei algumas fotos da cidade de blocos. Uma pena que o pessoal já estava desmontando tudo para fechar. O melhor de tudo é que as crianças podem brincar gratuitamente, bastando apenas fazer uma reserva com antecedência.
