During a trip to the [Pet Silvestre] Zoo (https://www.instagram.com/petsilvestre/) in Maragogi, in the state of Alagoas, I had the opportunity to take some photos with wild animals and even hold some of them with my bare hands. This zoo has a special feature, which is the interaction between the animals and the visitors. Although the model is tiring for the animals, they are well looked after by the owners.

Unfortunately, Zoo Pet Silvestre is now closed for good. During the pandemic, the owners experienced serious financial difficulties and the establishment closed. The cost of keeping a place full of animals is high, both in terms of food and care, so during the confinement period they lived off donations. The pandemic has passed and left a dent in the zoo's cash flow, but I think there must be a bigger reason, such as environmental permits.

This is my entry in the first #colmeiabrfotocontest. I'm holding a Canindé Macaw, which has a yellow belly, blue wings and part of a green head. I hope the color proportions don't put me out of the contest, hehehe!

Durante um passeio ao Zoológico Pet Silvestre, em Maragogi no Estado de Alagoas, tive a oportunidade de tirar algumas fotos com animais silvestre e até alguns deles pegar com as próprias mãos. Este zoológico tem um diferencial que é a interação dos animais com os visitantes, a pesar do modelo ser cansativos para os animais ele são bem cuidados pelos proprietários do estabelecimento.

Infelizmente, o Zoológico Pet Silvestre, encontra-se permanentemente fechado eles estavam passando por serias dificuldades financeiras durante a Pandemia, com estabelecimento fechado. Os custos para manter um local cheio de animais é alto, tanto em alimentação, quanto cuidados medidos, por isso durante o período de lockdown estavam vivendo a base de doações. A pandemia passou e deixou sequelas no caixa do Zoológico, mas acho que deve ter um motivo maior, como licenças ambientais.

Essa é a minha participação para o primeiro #hivebrphotocontest. Eu estou segurando uma Arara-Canindé, que possui a barriga amarela, as asas azuis e parte da cabeça verde. Espero que as proporções das cores não me deixem de fora do concurso, hehehe!
