Today I spent the whole day at home studying, even though it’s Sunday. My intention was just to focus on my studies, but my father-in-law showed up and we decided to prepare a lasagna to welcome him. I bought some of the missing ingredients and helped my wife with the cooking.

To change things up a little, we made a meat lasagna, which happens to be my favorite. My wife cooks very well when it comes to richer, more indulgent dishes — and this was one of those cases. But when it comes to simpler, homemade food, I’m the one who takes charge in the kitchen. In the end, lunch was served and we enjoyed that delicious lasagna surrounded by special people.

Yesterday I had lunch alone, but today, to make up for it, I had lunch with my father-in-law, my wife, and my brother-in-law. It wasn’t a big gathering, but it was a great family lunch. That was a little account of my Sunday!

Hoje passei o dia todo em casa estudando, em pleno domingo. Minha intenção era apenas focar nos estudos, mas meu sogro apareceu por aqui e resolvemos preparar uma lasanha para recepcioná-lo. Comprei alguns ingredientes que faltavam e ajudei minha esposa no preparo.

Para variar um pouco, fizemos uma lasanha de carne, que por sinal é a minha preferida. Minha esposa cozinha muito bem quando o prato é mais calórico — e esse foi o caso. Já quando o assunto é uma comida mais caseira, sou eu quem manda na cozinha. Ao final, o almoço foi servido e saboreamos essa deliciosa lasanha ao lado de pessoas especiais.

Ontem eu havia almoçado sozinho, mas hoje, para compensar, almocei com meu sogro, minha esposa e meu cunhado. Não havia muita gente, mas foi um ótimo almoço em família. Esse foi um pequeno relato do meu domingo!
