The weekend is synonymous with leisure. We spend the week working and/or studying, and to break out of this routine, there's nothing better than enjoying the weekend in places we like.

I live near the coast of northeastern Brazil, and although I hadn't been to the beach in a long time, mainly because it's winter, this weekend the sun came out, and my wife and I decided to take a walk.

We went to the beach after lunch at my mother-in-law's house, since eating out is very expensive. Even so, we took the opportunity to enjoy some snacks, such as cassava soup and aratu soup.

Although we didn't go into the water, which was very cold and dirty due to the rains, the trip was very worthwhile.

Our first destination was Praia do Saco, in Estância, but we didn't stay there because, besides the sea water not being inviting, the prices in the restaurants were very high. So we decided to go to the village of Terra Caída, which is very close by. There, we took some photos and ate some snacks at a fair price.

Final de semana é sinônimo de lazer, passamos a semana trabalhando e/ou estudando, e para sair dessa rotina, nada melhor do que aproveitar o fim de semana em lugares que nos agradam.

Moro próximo ao litoral do Nordeste brasileiro e, apesar de já fazer um bom tempo que não ia à praia, principalmente por estarmos no inverno, neste final de semana o sol apareceu, e eu e minha esposa resolvemos dar um passeio.

Fomos à praia depois do almoço na casa da minha sogra, já que comer fora está muito caro. Mesmo assim, aproveitamos para saborear alguns petiscos, como caldinho de macaxeira e caldinho de aratu.

Apesar de não termos entrado na água, que estava muito fria e suja devido às chuvas, o passeio foi bastante proveitoso.

Nosso primeiro destino foi a Praia do Saco, em Estância, no entanto, não ficamos por lá, pois, além da água do mar não estar convidativa, os preços nos restaurantes estavam bem altos. Decidimos então seguir para o povoado Terra Caída, que fica bem próximo dali. Lá, tiramos algumas fotos e comemos alguns tira-gostos por um preço justo.
