Moon Karts: My Game Activity + My Results and Rewards in Season 22
+ Focus on COLONY and SCRIPT Market Value (April 9, 2025 - April 21, 2025)
In a previous post of mine, I showed the use cases of COLONY tokens and also shared my new accumulation goal for these tokens: 500K COLONY staked.

On April 16, 2025, the second year of the COLONY token airdrop began.
If you are a SPS and/or a GLX stakeholder in this second year of airdrop you will receive a larger amount of COLONY tokens than in the first year.
In fact in the second year of the Airdrop the amount of COLONY that will be distributed will be three times the amount of the first year.
The minimum requirements to receive the daily airdrop have remained the same:
- 5000 SPS staked
- 10000 GLX staked

I started accumulating COLONY tokens quite some time ago but only set an accumulation goal after I started playing on Moon Karts.
Moonkarts is a Hive-based arcade race game that is part of the games featured on the Arcade Colony platform.
Moon Karts is a game that has potential in my opinion and could have a lot in the future because it is a fun game.
Sure there are aspects that can be improved but I enjoy racing my Kart and this is something that I consider fundamental to the future prospects of a web3 game.
The main current problem to be solved is in my opinion the wait in finding a player to play in the Multiplayer mode.
In fact on Moon Karts there are not many active players and the wait to play in the multiplayer mode can be very long at certain times and on certain days.
For example before I started writing this post I clicked on Multiplayer because I would have liked to play against another player but I am still waiting and it has been almost 40 minutes.
Implementing a bot owned by Moon Karts that comes into the game after 2-3 minutes of waiting would be a good solution to this problem in my opinion but I don't know the implementation complexity of implementing this solution.
One way or another I hope that the development team will think of a solution to this issue because in my opinion it is the main brake on onboarding new players and is also a source of discontentment for players who do not have friends to get together to play with.
In fact, among the top players in the leaderboards are two players who always/often play together and for many hours of the day.
A new player or even a player like me who can only play when has free time has a lot of difficulties to play in the multiplayer mode even if he would like to and is highly disadvantaged compared to those who agree to play together.
On Moon Karts is running season 23 which started just over a day.
In this post I will show you the achievements and rewards I got in the season before the current one, season 22.
In season 22 I made no changes to my Kart Preset which consists of:
- Kart: Arachno Eclipse
- Driver: Drift
- Accessories: Corner Demon, Easy Breeze, Grip Ease
- Tech Cards: Reinforced Body, Tire Upgrade, Engine Enhancement
- Power Ups: Celestial Thrust, Moonfire Missile
I haven't modified my Kart Preset but a few days ago I increased my FUEL production by purchasing and stacking SCRIPT tokens and modifying/adding NFT in staking in the Auto Vault section.

Today I went to the Notification section to make the Claim of the season 22 rewards and to see my final season results.
In season 22 my final results were:
- 7th place in the Ranked Leaderboard - Reward: 9390 COLONY (previous season: 4820 COLONY)
- 7th place in the Orbital Leaderboard - Reward: 3626 COLONY (previous season: 1052 COLONY)
I am very happy that I improved my game results and also improved my rewards compared to season 21.
I owe these improved results to the greater number of runs played in season 22 compared to season 21.
Based on the market value (Highest Bid) of the COLONY tokens and based on the market value of the HIVE token, I calculated the value in SWAP.HIVE and dollars of the seasonal reward I received for playing in season 22.
Adding up the rewards from the two leaderboards, I received a total seasonal reward of 13016 COLONY = 13.35 SWAP.HIVE = 3.16$
I started tracking my game rewards on Moon Karts from season 13 and in the last 10 seasons (in 100 days) I have earned 79840 COLONY = 81.92 SWAP.HIVE = 19.41$
Thanks to the rewards I earned from playing in season 22 and thanks to the COLONY tokens I earned from daily airdrop as SPS stakeholder and GLX stakeholder today I was able to add +13344.81 COLONY to my stake.
Now I have 130071.88 COLONY staked.
Compared to 12 days ago (April 9, 2025) I have made progress toward my accumulation goal but I still have a long way to go to reach 500K COLONY staked.
In the next few days I plan to sell some Hive Engine tokens for which I have long since reached my accumulation goal in order to purchase COLONY tokens so as to speed up the achievement of my goal of 500K COLONY staked.
My plan is to be able to purchase at least 20K COLONY every 10 days!
I like to monitor the market value of the tokens of the games I play and/or have invested in, and I will conclude this post with a small focus on the market value of COLONY tokens and SCRIPT tokens.
In the next two images you can see the changes in value in HIVE and dollars recorded by the COLONY token and the SCRIPT token over a 12-day time interval (April 9, 2025 - April 21, 2025)

Il 16 aprile 2025 è iniziato il secondo anno dell'airdrop dei token COLONY.
Se sei un SPS e/o GLX stakeholders in questo secondo anno di airdrop riceverai un quantitativo maggiore di token COLONY rispetto al primo anno.
Infatti nel secondo anno il quantitativo di COLONY che sarà distribuito sarà il triplo del primo anno.
Sono rimasti invariati i requisiti per ricevere l'airdrop giornaliero:
- 5000 SPS staked
- 10000 GLX staked

Ho iniziato ad accumulare i token COLONY diverso tempo fa ma ho fissato un obiettivo di accumulo solo dopo aver iniziato a giocare su Moon Karts.
Moonkarts è un Hive-based arcade race game che fa parte dei giochi presenti sulla piattaforma Arcade Colony.
Moon Karts è un gioco che ha potenziale e potrebbe averne molto in futuro perchè è un gioco divertente.
Certo ci sono aspetti migliorabili ma io mi diverto a correre con il mio Kart e questo è un elemento che considero fondamentale per le prospettive future di un gioco web3.
Il problema principale da risolvere è secondo me l'attesa nel trovare un giocatore per giocare nella modalità Multiplayer.
Infatti su Moon Karts non ci sono molti giocatori attivi e l'attesa per giocare nella modalità multiplayer può essere molto lunga in determinati orari e in determinati giorni.
Ad esempio prima di iniziare a scrivere questo post ho cliccato su Multiplayer perchè mi sarebbe piaciuto giocare contro un altro giocatore ma ancora sto aspettando e sono passati quasi 40 minuti.
Implementare un bot che entri in gioco dopo 2-3 minuti di attesa sarebbe secondo me una valida soluzione a questo problema ma non conosco la complessità realizzativa di implementare questa soluzione.
In un modo o nell'altro spero che il team di sviluppo pensi ad una soluzione a questa problematica perchè secondo me è il principale freno all'onboarding di nuovi giocatori ed è anche motivo di scontentezza per i giocatori che non hanno amici con cui mettersi d'accordo per giocare.
Infatti tra i primi giocatori nelle leaderboards ci sono due giocatori che giocano sempre/spesso insieme e per molte ore della giornata.
Un nuovo giocatore o anche un giocatore come me che può giocare solo quando ha tempo libero ha molte difficoltà a giocare nella modalità multiplayer anche se lo vorrebbe ed è altamente svantaggiato rispetto a chi si accorda per giocare.
Su Moon Karts è in corso la stagione 23 che è iniziata poco più di un giorno.
In questo post ti mostro i risultati e le ricompense che ho ottenuto nella stagione precedente a quella in corso, la stagione 22.
Nella stagione 22 non ho fatto modifiche al mio Kart Preset che è composto da:
- Kart: Arachno Eclipse
- Driver: Drift
- Accessories: Corner Demon, Easy Breeze, Grip Ease
- Tech Cards: Reinforced Body, Tire Upgrade, Engine Enhancement

Qualche giorno fa ho aumentato la mia produzione di FUEL acquistando e mettendo in stakind dei token SCRIPT e modificando/aggiungendo NFT in staking nella sezione Auto Vault.
Se clicchi sul prossimo link puoi vedere le operazioni che ho effettuato per aumentare la produzione di FUEL.
Oggi sono andato nella sezione Notification per fare il Claim delle ricompense della stagione 22 e per vedere i miei risultati stagionali finali.
Nella stagione 22 i miei risultati finali sono stati:
- 7° posto nella Ranked Leaderboard - Reward: 9390 COLONY (stagione precedente: 4820 COLONY)
- 7° posto nella Orbital Leaderboard - Reward: 3626 COLONY (stagione precedente: 1052 COLONY)
Sono molto contento di aver migliorato i miei risultati di gioco e anche di aver migliorato le mie ricompense rispetto alla stagione 21.
Devo questi risultati migliori al maggior numero di corse giocate nella stagione 22 rispetto alla stagione 21.
In base al valore di mercato (Highest Bid) dei token COLONY e in base al valore di mercato del token HIVE ho calcolato il valore in SWAP.HIVE e in dollari della ricompensa stagionale che ho ricevuto per aver giocato nella stagione 22.
Sommando le ricompense delle due leaderboards ho ricevuto una ricompensa stagionale totale di 13016 COLONY = 13.35 SWAP.HIVE = 3.16$
Ho iniziato a monitorare le mie ricompense di gioco su Moon Karts a partire dalla stagione 13 e nelle ultime 10 stagioni (in 100 giorni) ho guadagnato 79840 COLONY = 81.92 SWAP.HIVE = 19.41$
Grazie alle ricompense che ho guadagnato giocando nella stagione 22 e grazie ai token COLONY che ho guadagnato dall'airdrop giornaliero come SPS stakeholder e GLX stakeholder oggi ho potuto aggiungere +13344.81 COLONY al mio stake.
Adesso ho 130071.88 COLONY staked.
Rispetto a 12 giorni fa (9 aprile 2025) ho fatto dei passi in avanti verso il mio obiettivo di accumulo ma ho ancora molta strada da percorrere per raggiungere 500K COLONY staked.
Nei prossimi giorni ho intenzione di vendere alcuni Hive Engine tokens per i quali ho raggiunto da tempo il mio obiettivo di accumulo per acquistare i token COLONY in modo da velocizzare il raggiungimento del mio obiettivo di 500K COLONY staked.
Il mio piano è di riuscire ad acquistare almeno 20K COLONY ogni 10 giorni!
Mi piace monitorare il valore di mercato dei token dei giochi in cui gioco e/o in cui ho investito e concludo questo post con un piccolo focus sul valore di mercato dei token COLONY e dei token SCRIPT.
Nella prossime due immagini puoi vedere le variazioni di valore in HIVE e in dollari registrate dal token COLONY e dal token SCRIPT in un intervallo di tempo di 12 giorni (9 aprile 2025 - 21 aprile 2025)
