My Hive-based Games Assets Optimization: GLX->COLONY, GLUSD->SCRIPT and DEC->SPS
I am very interested in Hive based games because Hive is my favorite blockchain project and because there are many Hive games that I like to play regularly every day.
The beauty of Hive based games is that they offer me more opportunities for fun:
- because I enjoy playing them
- because I like to write content related to my gaming activities and strategies in my Hive Blog
- because I like to think about and I like to evaluate possible strategies to achieve the gaming goals I set to reach.
In addition to playing games I also like to do optimizations that can be related to assets (tokens and NFTs) of a single game or they can be related to assets of different games.
My strategy in blockchain-based games is mainly based on the fun they provide me.
If a game gives me fun I also like to invest.
If I like one game more than another and I have assets in both games, I sell some of the assets of the game I like less to buy assets of the game I like more.
In summary in Web 3 games I am not a collector but a player and my strategies of selling/buying tokens and NFTs are strongly influenced by this.
The first optimization I chose to do today regards two tokens of two different games that are, however, accessible from the same game platform (Arcade Colony): Moonkarts and Genesis League Goals.
I am an active player in both games and have invested in both games by purchasing packs of cards.
Genesis League Goals has been playable for many months but it has so many aspects to improve and in fact the development team is planning to revolutionize the game dynamics and in my opinion they are doing well because the game is not very fun.
Moonkarts is playable since few months and it is very fun in my opinion even if in the current stage of development (Alpha) it is not easy to play in the multiplayers mode because there are still few active players.
I see good potential in Moon Karts and many aspects to be improved on Genesis League Goals and therefore I decided to use all the in-game rewards I get from playing on GLG to increase the amount of COLONY tokens that are the native tokens of Moon Karts.
Today I transferred 549.21 GLX from my in-game wallet to my Hive Engine wallet.
Then I used the GLX:COLONY pool to convert 551.23 GLX to 704.32 COLONY
On Genesis League Goals I will continue to play and for that reason I will only keep 30K GLX staked and an amount of NFT to play with but I have put up for sale many cards that I do not use in the game and the GLUSD tokens that I get from the sale I will convert to SCRIPT tokens that are useful on Moon Karts to produce Fuel.
Today I noticed that I received 3.858 GLUSDs and I performed the operations that you can see in the next two images to convert 3.858 GLUSD into 1.775 SCRIPT tokens
The last optimization I chose to do today involves two Splinterlands assets and specifically it involves DEC tokens and SPS tokens.
In my Splinterlands in-game wallet I have 99941 liquid DEC.
I generally use DEC tokens to buy cards that I consider useful in battle but in May 2025 the new card set will be released.
The new set of cards will produce effects on the value of cards of the previous sets and in particular it might produce negative effects on the value of cards coming out of Modern Format and for this reason buying cards today might be a mistake in my opinion.
At the same time it doesn't make much sense to me to keep this amount of DEC tokens idle and unproductive for about 5 months.
By the way looking at the DEC/SPS chart it seems like a good time to convert some of my DEC tokens to SPS.
Today I converted 51838.60 DEC to 5065.11 SPS.
I immediately staked this amount of SPS tokens along with the other liquid SPS I had in my in-game wallet.
Thanks to this conversion I have made progress toward my accumulation goal related to staked SPS tokens because I now have 125729 staked SPS while my accumulation goal is 150K staked SPS.
I like to share my gaming activity, my progress and my strategies in the Hive-based games I play but I would like to make it clear that my strategies are personal choices, they are not financial advice and may turn out to be wrong in the future.

L'Ottimizzazione dei miei Hive Games Assets: DEC->SPS, GLX->COLONY and GLUSD->SCRIPT
Sono molto interessato agli Hive based games perchè Hive è il mio progetto blockchain preferito e perchè ci sono molti Hive games a cui mi piace giocare regolarmente ogni giorno.
Il bello degli Hive based games è che mi offrono più occasioni di divertimento:
- perchè mi piace giocarci
- perchè mi piace scrivere contenuti relativi alla mia attività di gioco e alle mie strategie di gioco nel mio Hive Blog
- perchè mi piace pensare e mi piace valutare possibili strategie per raggiungere gli obiettivi di gioco che mi sono posto di raggiungere.
Oltre a giocare mi piace anche fare delle ottimizzazioni che possono essere relative agli assets (tokens e NFT) di un singolo gioco oppure possono riguardare assets di giochi diversi.
La mia strategia nei giochi basati su blockchain si basa principalmente sul divertimento che mi procurano.
Se un gioco mi diverte mi piace anche investire.
Se un gioco mi piace più di un altro e ho assets in entrambi i giochi, vendo una parte degli assets del gioco che mi piace meno per acquistare assets del gioco che mi piace di più.
In sintesi nei giochi web 3 non sono un collezionista ma un giocatore e le mie strategie di vendita/acquisto di token e NFT sono fortemente influenzate da questo aspetto.
La prima ottimizzazione che ho scelto di fare oggi riguarda due tokens di due giochi diversi che però sono accessibili dalla stessa piattaforma di gioco (Arcade Colony): Moonkarts e Genesis League Goals.
Sono un giocatore attivo in entrambi i giochi e ho investito in entrambi i giochi acquistando pacchi di carte.
Genesis League Goals è giocabile da molti mesi ma ha tanti aspetti da migliorare e infatti il team di sviluppo sta pensando di rivoluzionare le dinamiche di gioco e secondo me fa bene perchè il gioco non è molto divertente.
Moonkarts è un gioco giocabile da pochi mesi ed è molto divertente secondo me anche se nella fase di sviluppo attuale (Alpha) non è facile giocare nella modalità multiplayers perchè i giocatori attivi sono ancora pochi.
Vedo molto potenziale in Moon Karts e molti aspetti da migliorare su Genesis League Goals e per questo motivo ho deciso di utilizzare tutte le ricompense di gioco che ottengo giocando su GLG per aumentare il quantitativo di token COLONY che sono i token nativi di Moon Karts.
Oggi ho trasferito 549.21 GLX dal mio in-game wallet al mio Hive Engine wallet
Poi ho utilizzato la pool GLX:COLONY per convertire 551.23 GLX in 704.32 COLONY
Su Genesis League Goals continuerò a giocare e per questo motivo manterrò solo 30K GLX staked e un quantitativo di NFT per giocare ma ho messo in vendita molte carte che non uso nel gioco e i token GLUSD che otterrò dalla vendita li convertirò in token SCRIPT che sono utili su Moon Karts per produrre Fuel.

L'ultima ottimizzazione che ho scelto di fare oggi riguarda due assets di Splinterlands e in particolare riguarda i token DEC e i token SPS.

Generalmente uso i token DEC per acquistare carte che considero utili in battaglia ma a maggio 2025 uscirà il nuovo set di carte.
Il nuovo set di carte produrrà effetti sul valore delle carte dei set precedenti e in particolare potrebbe produrre effetti negativi sul valore delle carte che usciranno dal Modern Format e per questo motivo acquistare carte oggi potrebbe essere un errore secondo me.
Allo stesso tempo non ha molto senso per me tenere questo quantitativo di token DEC fermo e improduttivo per circa 5 mesi.
Tra l'altro guardando il grafico DEC/SPS mi sembra un buon momento per convertire una parte dei miei DEC in SPS.
Oggi ho convertito 51838.60 DEC in 5065.11 SPS
Ho messo subito in stake questo quantitativo di token SPS insieme agli altri SPS liquidi che avevo nel mio in-game wallet.
Grazie a questa conversione ho fatto dei passi in avanti verso il mio obiettivo di accumulo relativo ai token SPS staked perchè adesso ho 125729 SPS staked mentre il mio obiettivo di accumulo è di 150K SPS staked.

It's probably a good decision to keep some of your cards for when the next generation splinterlands cards will be released in May. I think it's been a great year for you on splinterlands
I am very curious to see the effect of Survival Mode on the cards and hope that the effects will be positive although I remain convinced that some aspects should be improved such as the Modern Format and Wild Format division that penalizes cards from older sets
