My Game Activity, My Results and Rewards in Season 25
+ Focus on COLONY and SCRIPT Market Value (May 10, 2025 - May 21, 2025)
It is several months that I play and have fun on Moonkarts which is a Hive-based arcade race game that is part of the games featured on the Arcade Colony platform.
In this post I share recent news about Moon Karts, my game activity, my progress in accumulating COLONY tokens, and my results in season 25 which is the season ended less than two days ago.
I start with the recent news because yesterday, May 2025 a new build was released that fixed some issues and bugs.
In my previous post, I had shown the team's decision to block the transfer of tokens and NFTs for a list of accounts under investigation because they took advantage of a bug on FUEL production to play many races and receive a large amount of COLONY tokens.
The team's investigation led to the calculation of an amount of 7625910 COLONY earned unfairly by exploiting the bug in FUEL production.
Those who exploited this bug returned a part of the COLONY tokens and sent the value in HIVE of the remaining part to the DAO.
The amount in HIVE will be returned when all of the unjustly earned COLONY is sent to the DAO, which through voting will decide what to do with the returned COLONY.
With collateral in hand, the Moon Karts team has stopped freezing the accounts on the list I showed you earlier.
The new build fixed the problem related to “ anomalous” FUEL production and now everything should work fine.
Those like me who have NFT Gold foils in staking will now receive more FUEL than before.
The new build also introduced a 5-minute ban for those who enter the pre-race queue and leave before 50 seconds for two consecutive times.
I voluntarily exited the queue twice consecutively to test if this new feature works and my test was positive as you can see in the next image.
I personally would have preferred the introduction of a ban immediately after a single exit from the queue (not two) and I would also have liked the introduction of increasing time bans for those who exited multiple times consecutively.
However, I am very happy with the introduction of this ban mechanism because it is a step in the right direction.
If you are a new player on Moon Karts I remind you that after the release of a new build you have to refresh your browser cache by pressing Ctrl+Shift+R keys and if you had personal settings you have to resettle them as I did today.
Now I show you my results in season 25 which ended about 2 days ago.
In season 25 I made no changes to my Kart Preset which consists of:
- Kart: Arachno Eclipse
- Driver: Drift
- Accessories: Corner Demon, Easy Breeze, Grip Ease
- Tech Cards: Reinforced Body, Tire Upgrade, Engine Enhancement
- Power Ups: Celestial Thrust, Moonfire Missile
One of my short term goals is to improve my Kart Preset statistics especially the statistics related to speed and to do this I need to purchase more NFTs.
I still have an active purchase offer for 5 CENTAURI packs on Hive Engine but no vendor has accepted my purchase offer so I will increase it.
In season 25 my final results were:
- 7th place in the Ranked Leaderboard - Reward: 9390 COLONY (previous season: 16th place: 5918 COLONY)
- 2nd place in the Orbital Leaderboard - Reward: 24399 COLONY (previous season: 9th place: 4418 COLONY)
In season 25 I played much more than in season 24 but the improvement in my season rewards compared to the previous season I think is mainly due to the absence of the players under investigation for FUEL exploit who did not play during season 25.
Based on the market value (Highest Bid) of the COLONY tokens and based on the market value of the HIVE token, I calculated the value in SWAP.HIVE and dollars of the seasonal reward I received for playing in season 24.
Adding up the rewards from the two leaderboards, I received a total seasonal reward of 33789 COLONY = 46.41 SWAP.HIVE = 12.34$
I started tracking my game rewards on Moon Karts from season 13 and in the last 13 seasons (in 130 days) I have earned 130716 COLONY = 179.56 SWAP.HIVE = 47.76$
Thanks to the rewards I earned from playing in season 25 and thanks to the COLONY tokens I earned from daily airdrop as SPS stakeholder and GLX stakeholder today I was able to add +34998.03 COLONY to my stake.
Now I have 210835.88 COLONY staked.
My goal is to accumulate at least 500K COLONY staked and today I made progress toward my goal even though I still need to accumulate 289164.11 COLONY to reach my goal.
I like to monitor the market value of the tokens of the games I play and/or have invested in, and I will conclude this post with a small focus on the market value of COLONY tokens and SCRIPT tokens.
In the next two images you can see the changes in value in HIVE and dollars recorded by the COLONY token and the SCRIPT token over a 11-day time interval: May 10, 2025 - May 21, 2025

Moon Karts: Novità Recenti + La mia attività di gioco e i miei risultati nella stagione 24
Sono diversi mesi che gioco e mi diverto su Moonkarts che è un Hive-based arcade race game che fa parte dei giochi presenti sulla piattaforma Arcade Colony.
In questo post condivido le novità recenti, la mia attività di gioco, i miei progressi nell'accumulo dei token COLONY e i miei risultati nella stagione 25 che è la stagione conclusa su Moon Karts meno di due giorni fa.
Inizio dalle novità recenti perchè ieri 20 maggio 2025 è stata rilasciata una nuova build che ha risolto alcune problematiche e alcuni bugs.
Nel mio precedente post avevo mostrato la decisione del team di bloccare il trasferimento dei token e degli NFT ad una lista di accounts sotto indagine perchè hanno approfittato di un bug sulla produzione di FUEL per giocare tante gare e ricevere un grande quantitativo di COLONY tokens.
L'indagine del team ha portato al calcolo di un quantitativo di 7625910 COLONY guadagnati ingiustamente sfruttando il bug nella produzione di FUEL.
Chi ha sfruttato questo bug ha restituito una parte dei token COLONY e ha inviato al DAO il valore in HIVE della restante parte.
Il quantitativo in HIVE sarà restituito quando tutti i COLONY guadagnati ingiustamente saranno inviati al DAO che tramite votazione deciderà cosa fare con i COLONY restituiti.
Con un collaterale in mano il team di Moon Karts ha interrotto il congelamento degli accounts presenti nella lista che ti ho mostrato prima.
La nuova build ha risolto il problema collegato alla produzione "anomala" di FUEL e adesso tutto dovrebbe funzionare bene.
Chi come me ha NFT Gold foils in staking adesso riceverà più FUEL rispetto a prima.
La nuova build ha introdotto anche un ban di 5 minuti per chi entra nella queue pre-gara ed esce prima di 50 secondi per due volte consecutive.
Sono uscito volontariamente dalla queue due volte consecutivamente per verificare se questa nuova funzionalità funziona e il mio test è stato positivo come puoi vedere nella prossima immagine.
Io personalmente avrei preferito l'introduzione di un ban immediatamente dopo una singola uscita dalla queue (non due) e mi sarebbe anche piaciuta l'introduzione di ban di tempo crescente per chi usciva più volte consecutivamente.
Sono comunque molto contento dell'introduzione di questo meccanismo di ban perchè è un passo verso la giusta direzione.
Se sei un nuovo giocatore su Moon Karts ti ricordo che dopo il rilascio di una nuova build devi fare il refresh della cache del tuo browser premendo i tasti Ctrl+Shift+R e se avevi dei settaggi personali devi reimpostarli come ho fatto io oggi.
Adesso ti mostro i miei risultati nella stagione 25 che è terminata circa 2 giorni fa.
Nella stagione 25 non ho fatto modifiche al mio Kart Preset che è composto da:
- Kart: Arachno Eclipse

Uno dei miei obiettivi è migliorare le statistiche del mio Kart Preset soprattutto le statistiche inerenti alla velocità e per farlo ho necessità di acquistare altri NFT.
Ho sempre un offerta di acquisto attiva per 5 CENTAURI packs su Hive Engine ma nessun venditore ha accettato la mia offerta di acquisto e per questo motivo l'aumenterò.
Nella stagione 25 i miei risultati finali sono stati:
- 7° posto nella Ranked Leaderboard - Reward: 9390 COLONY (stagione precedente: 16° posto: 5918 COLONY)
- 2° posto nella Orbital Leaderboard - Reward: 24399 COLONY (stagione precedente: 9° posto: 4418 COLONY)
Nella stagione 25 ho giocato molto di più rispetto alla stagione 24 ma il miglioramento delle mie rewards stagionali rispetto alla stagione precedente penso che è principalmente dovuta all'assenza dei giocatori sotto indagine per il FUEL exploit che non hanno giocato durante la stagione 25.
In base al valore di mercato (Highest Bid) dei token COLONY e in base al valore di mercato del token HIVE ho calcolato il valore in SWAP.HIVE e in dollari della ricompensa stagionale che ho ricevuto per aver giocato nella stagione 25.
Sommando le ricompense delle due leaderboards ho ricevuto una ricompensa stagionale totale di 33789 COLONY = 46.41 SWAP.HIVE = 12.34$
Ho iniziato a monitorare le mie ricompense di gioco su Moon Karts a partire dalla stagione 13 e nelle ultime 13 stagioni (in 130 giorni) ho guadagnato 130716 COLONY = 179.56 SWAP.HIVE = 47.76$
Grazie alle ricompense che ho guadagnato giocando nella stagione 23 e grazie ai token COLONY che ho guadagnato dall'airdrop giornaliero come SPS stakeholder e GLX stakeholder oggi ho potuto aggiungere +34998.03 COLONY al mio stake.
Adesso ho 210835.88 COLONY staked.
Il mio obiettivo è accumulare almeno 500K COLONY staked e oggi ho fatto dei passi in avanti verso il mio obiettivo anche se devo accumulare ancora 289164.11 COLONY per raggiungere il mio obiettivo.
Mi piace monitorare il valore di mercato dei token dei giochi in cui gioco e/o in cui ho investito e concludo questo post con un piccolo focus sul valore di mercato dei token COLONY e dei token SCRIPT.
Nella prossime due immagini puoi vedere le variazioni di valore in HIVE e in dollari registrate dal token COLONY e dal token SCRIPT in un intervallo di tempo di 11 giorni (10 maggio 2025 - 21 maggio 2025)

Incredibile che tutti quegli account hanno restituito i COLONY ottenuti con quel bug, addirittura versando l'equivalente in HIVE se non avevano più i COLONY a loro disposizione... come li hanno convinti a farlo? Il freeze dell'account era una sanzione così dura? Anche gli assets erano freezati?

In pratica chi ha restituito tutto è stato drzoom che aveva delegato nft e assets ad altri accounts tipo scholarship penso. Il freeze ha riguardato gli assets in game e non quelli su Hive Engine.
Dopo che molti, me compreso, hanno espresso di andare al voto come annunciato inizialmente, c'è stato un nuovo recente cambio e il dao deciderà per il ban di questi accounts.
Io penso che un ban sia positivo come monito per i futuri giocatori. Nel caso si voterà per il ban questi acconts potranno comunque giocare creando altri account ma sarebbe un buon segnale che mostra l'intenzione di avere un ambiente di gioco il più giusto possibile.
Vedremo cosa succederà ;)

I am glad to see that they are solving the extra COLONY tokens through the glitch, and I am glad to see all those fixes. Just wonder, I heard that COLONY price increased quite a bit. Is it because of that update or is there some other news causing people o start hoarding their tokens/NFTS.
The COLONY token has and will have use cases if put into staked because it will also be the token of other games besides moon karts. The recent increase in value could be the result of multiple factors including freeze.
