Hyper Rail Blaster: The Next Web3 Arcade Game on the Arcade Colony Platform!
Arcade Colony is a web 3 game platform implemented by The Invennium Corporation (100% owned by Splinterlands).
There are three web 3 games that can be accessed and played on Arcade Colony:
I am an active player on all three games featured on Arcade Colony and my favorite games are Splinterlands and Moon Karts.
The number of games featured on Arcade Colony will increase in the future because more games are in development:
- Stake House Den: a Web3 Social Casino
- a Web3 Prediction market game for sports
- Hyper-rail Blaster: a Web3 arcade game
The topic of this post is the Hyper-rail Blaster arcade game that was announced a few hours ago on Hive by @khan.dayyanz who published the draft version of the whitepaper: Hyper Rail Blaster Whitepaper.
The game is in the Alpha development stage but is already playable from this link: Play Now
I have already played this game from which I took the next images.
Hyper-rail Blaster is an arcade game whose playability is very similar to a famous vintage game I used to play in arcades when I was a kid: Pang.
The controls are very simple:
- left and right directional keys to move the cannon on the rails
- the SPACE key to shoot
The objective of the game is to destroy the bouncing balls with cannon shots.
On each rotating ball is a number that decreases each time the ball is hit.
When this number reaches 0 the rotating ball splits into two smaller rotating balls that require fewer shots to destroy than the number of shots needed to destroy the initial rotating ball.
Each time a rotating ball is destroyed it releases a useful item in the game that you can collect.
For example, the clock item stops the rotating balls for a few seconds.
In my first game I arrived at the first Boss level but did not complete the level.
My first impression is positive because although in Alpha version the game is immediate to play and also fun.
A possible future Game Mechanics function is also indicated in the whitepaper:
- three free daily games
- subsequent games will have an increasing cost in Quark = in-game token purchasable with CREDITS or SCRIPT
Rewards will be quantity of COLONY tokens if the future DAO Proposal (only announced and not yet active) is voted favorably by COLONY stakeholders.
In the whitepaper there is the Roadmap showing the steps to be taken and the steps completed.
I like it and it is interesting that in future plans there is the implementation of a mobile version that can be downloaded from Google Playstore and Apple Appstore.

L'argomento di questo post è l'arcade game Hyper-rail Blaster che è stato annunciato poche ore fa su Hive da @khan.dayyanz che ha pubblicato la draft version del whitepaper: Hyper Rail Blaster Whitepaper.

Io ho già fatto una partita da cui ho preso le prossime immagini.
Hyper-rail Blaster è un arcade game la cui giocabilità è molto simile ad un famoso vintage game a cui giocavo nelle sale giochi quando ero un bambino: Pang.
I comandi sono molto semplici:
- i tasti direzionali destra e sinistra per muovere il cannone sulle rotaie
- il tasto SPACE per sparare
L'obiettivo del gioco è distruggere le palle rimbalzanti con gli spari del cannone.
Su ogni palla rotante c'è un numero che diminuisce ogni volta che la palla viene colpita.
Quando questo numero arriva a 0 la palla rotante si divide in due palle rotanti di dimensioni più piccole che richiedono un numero di colpi per essere distrutte inferiori ai colpi necessari a distruggere la palla rotante iniziale.
Ogni volta che una palla rotante viene distrutta rilascia un item utile nel gioco che è possibile raccogliere.
Ad esempio l'item orologio blocca le palle rotanti per qualche secondo.
Nella mia prima partita sono arrivato al primo Boss level ma non ho completato il livello.
La mia prima impressione è positiva perchè anche se in versione Alpha il gioco è immediato da giocare e anche divertente.
Nel whitepaper è indicato anche un possibile futuro funzionamento delle Game Mechanics:
- tre partite giornaliere gratuite
- le successive partite avranno un costo crescente in Quark = in-game token acquistabile con i CREDITS o con gli SCRIPT
Le Rewards saranno quantitativi di token COLONY se la futura DAO Proposal (solo annunciata e non ancora attiva) sarà votata con esito favorevole dai COLONY stakeholders.
Nel whitepaper c'è anche la Roadmap con l'indicazione dei passi da fare e dei passi completati.
Mi piace ed è interessante che nei piani futuri c'è l'implementazione di una versione mobile scaricabile da Google Playstore e Apple Appstore.

Currently the alpha build is live on UNITY play, it's just for alpha testing.
When game fully goes live on @arcadecolony then you could use keychain on an invennium account to log in into arcade colony system and play games.

Reminds me a lot of the game that i use to play where you had a gun and had to defend against stronger and stronger enemies,
still seems like a fun game to play though :)

Mi piace questo Hyper Rail Blaster. Il tuo post e le immagini qui riportate hanno attirato la mia attenzione. Devo ancora dare un'occhiata a Moon Karts. E' vero che sono un appassionato di giochi di motrsport, ma Moon Karts non mi attrae come ambientazione. Invece questo Hyper Rail Blaster mi sembra che abbia del potenziale e si avvicina anche a certi miei gusti. Continuo a seguirti, così so di essere sempre aggiornato sul gaming di HIVE
Si questo è un gioco semplice e immediato di giocare ed è importante che il numero dei giochi ma soprattutto la tipologia aumenti in modo che ognuno può scegliere a quale gioco giocare ;)
Questo gioco è in fase di test ma potrebbe avere assolutamente il suo perchè ;)

Is Genesis League Goals up and working? I bought a franchise license yesterday after reading your post. However, it appears to me that the website is inactive. I don't see pictures of coaches and players, and I also don't have cards to start with.

Yes it is active and working I started a game just now.
You don't see pictures and of the players because the partnership with the Canadian league has been discontinued.
The game has not been successful so far partly because it is not very fun to play but the team has announced that they will completely revolutionize it. I for the moment have much more fun on Splinterlands and Moon Karts

As I suspect. However, there are two teams available as I start. Do I need to use the same name or two names? I thought there would be coach and player cards once you buy a fanchise license. I don't see any. Do I need to buy those cards on the market before I can play?
