Hello, dear Hivers!

Since we had a client who needed an early orientation about our program, I decided to work from home instead of going to the office. Since the orientation could be done online, I thought it would be more practical to stay at home and do my work.

Honestly, I really enjoy working from home. It is less stressful, peaceful, and comfortable. I can focus more on my tasks because I am alone, there is less noise, and nobody is around to distract me. Don't get me wrong, having workmates is fun, especially when you have someone to talk to during breaks. But sometimes, working in a quiet place helps me become more productive. No one keeps chatting beside me while I am trying to finish my work.

Another good thing about working from home is that I can save money on transportation. This is very important nowadays because the cost of living keeps getting higher. Almost everything we buy seems to be more expensive, from food and groceries to transportation and other daily needs. We really have to think carefully about how we spend our money.

Imagine, before, our round-trip fare to the office was only ₱56. Now, it has increased to ₱82. That is an additional ₱26 every working day! It may seem like a small amount, but if we calculate it for a whole month, the difference becomes quite big. That money could be used to buy food, pay bills, or save for other important needs.

Because of this, I prefer working from home for the meantime, especially when my tasks and client orientations can be done online. For me, there is no need to spend extra money on transportation if I can do my job well from home.

This experience reminds me that being practical is important in today's world. We need to find ways to manage our expenses without sacrificing the quality of our work. Sometimes, small decisions can make a big difference in our daily lives.

At the end of the day, what matters most is that we can do our responsibilities properly while saving money and protecting our peace of mind.

Thank you for reading, and see you in my next blog!
