A couple of days ago, I wrote about my maternal grandparents and it turned out that today is my late grandma's 30th death anniversary. I totally forgot about it until my sister tagged me on her Facebook post. I was 16 when she passed away. I still remember holding her hand for the last time. By then she was very ill and bedridden for a while before she passed away. Three solid decades had passed since that day and we still missed her dearly.
I haven't shared my simple recipes for a while because I always forgot to take pictures. I am trying to post daily on Hive and I admit I have been struggling with being intentional in my daily activities. Taking pictures and looking for Hive content is not always the top priority in my daily life. That needs to change if I want to maintain consistency in posting.
Here are a couple of things I whipped up in my kitchen today - steamed buns and stir-fried broccoli and mushrooms. No, I didn't make those buns from scratch, if you are wondering.
When they are not attending their online classes, I encourage my kids to do their revision, especially their weakest subject which is Math. I am weak in Math myself and it's a struggle trying to teach it to my kids, especially my daughter. However, the extra online tutoring has been very helpful and I can see they are gaining some confidence in answering hard Math questions.
I received this shocking news last night. According to the news, the UK-based online bookseller (acquired by Amazon in 2011) will close down its store on 26 April 2023. I have been a loyal customer since 2012 because it offers a wide selection of books that are not available in Malaysia. And of course, the free shipping feature is the best part about this bookstore. And not only that BD has been a channel for me to sell my books. I have 5 active titles (mostly coloring books) available on Amazon and BD. I am not sure if this closing will affect my sales but I hope it won't. My books have been a good source of passive income for me throughout the years. It's not much but the sales are in USD so yeah, if you convert that to MYR, it does add up.

I have not jump into the AI chatbot bandwagon because I don't see the need to. Not until I saw the latest ASEAN HIVE Community Challenge. I haven't participate in this challenge in a long time but I kind of miss the fun of creating content solely for the contest. My husband uses ChatGPT regularly and he always urges me to give it a try but I think why should I if I could google any information I need? I don't need AI to feed me the information. So for the sake of this challenge I downloaded ChatGPT and started to play around with it. I was clueless on things to ask so I asked about God and stuff. There is a limit of 10 questions that you can ask daily and once that quota is finished you need to wait for 24 hours before you can get a fresh quota. Now, I wasn't aware of that rule. Anyway, I need to think of better things to ask for the contest and so far I still have no clue.
These are some of the questions I asked in the chat today.
That's it for now. If you read this far, thank you. I appreciate it so much! Kindly give me a follow if you like my content. I mostly write about making art, life musing, and our mundane yet charming family life here in Klang Valley, Malaysia.

Now I'm gathering information. Is chat gpt an app? Van it be used on phones?
Yes it's an app you can download to your phone. I am not sure about iPhone but for Android phones, you can get it from Google Play.
Thank you so much. That's a great help

Exactly. BD is my go-to place to purchase books that are otherwise not available in Malaysia. Malaysians hardly read anything other than their silly Facebook postings so there is no demand for books here. The free shipping feature is extremely helpful because books are expensive due to plummeting value of MYR.
Somehow I missed this entry because I don't think you shared the link in the comments section of the challenge post. Well, at least I've found it now, and the responses to your questions are typical from what I've seen. Anything that can be left to interpretation or without scientific solid proof can often lead to stumping the AI. With both image and text generation, I've learned more and more lately that the prompt is a big part of how quality the response can be.
One of my recent prompts was to tell ChatSonic to tell me a story about friends Adam and John are friends, where John discovers an illegal magical banana under Adam's bed. The response was a gem, but because I have limited play with the AI because I'm on the free plan, I try and diligently create my prompts and questions. I think this tech will change the world much like Facebook and Google did.
