Buffalo Chicken Wings

Hello everyone!!
Let's have some "Buffalo Chicken Wings" this weekend.
It's been a bit busy week for us this time because my niece @adamsale stays at home for her 5-day final review and board exam today. I need to wake up very early to prepare and cook food for her "baon". I mostly cook dry food in the morning, and one of them is this "buffalo chicken wings".

So, let's take a look at how I did it.

  • Chicken Wings
  • Ketchup
  • Chili Powder
  • Garlic Powder
  • Paprika
  • Ground White Pepper
  • Salt
  • Lemon
  • Flour
  • Cornstarch
  • Magic Sarap Seasoning
  • Butter
  • Canola Oil

PREPARATION:



Wash the chicken wings thoroughly. Cut in half. Then marinate the chicken wings with just a pinch of salt, garlic powder and white pepper. Set for an hour or overnight.

Now, let's make the breading or coating.
I combined all-purpose flour, cornstarch, and a little of the Magic Sarap seasoning. Measurement of the coating will depend on the amount of chicken.

Coat the chicken wings individually in a flour mixture. And set aside.

Heat canola oil in a pan and then deep fry the chicken wings in batches until they are cooked through and crispy. Remove from the pan and transfer to a plate.

Remove the pan from the stove and let the cooking oil cool down for 15 minutes.
While cooling down the cooking oil and chicken wings, let's make the buffalo sauce.

Heat another pan and melt 1 tbsp of butter, then add the ketchup and stir. Then add chili powder. (I used ramyun powder) Then also add garlic powder, white pepper and paprika. Mix them well and then add a little lemon juice and stir again. Then turn off the stove and set aside the buffalo sauce.

Put back the other pan again with the cooking oil in the stove and reheat, then cook the chicken for the 2nd time to achieve more crispiness. Just refry the chicken for about 3 minutes. Then transfer them to a plate and remove some excess oil. Then, gradually add the fried chicken into the sauce. Toss them until evenly coated.

And there it is...They look so good and tempting. Actually, it tastes so good and yummy. We all love it!!

It's fun to eat the buffalo chicken wings by just your hand. It's honestly finger lickin' good..😋👍
