I have had a busy weekend, spent it abroad so didn't have time to write on Hive, except some threads / snaps. This evening I am home alone so I decided to write another longform article. Although I haven't posted anything I have stayed up to date and so I want to write a new card in the Splinterlands realms: Tasoshi Drakamoto. Had to check if I wrote it right, not that easy for a simple Flamish farmer.

Tasoshi Drakamoto

Some say she once trained with the Dragonsguard. Others claim she is a descendant of Shiimya Khapri, the first suam emperor, or that she is not Gloridax at all. No one knows for certain—not her lineage, her age, nor even if Tasoshi Drakamoto is her real name. Her past is a shadow, her face rarely seen, and her methods impossible to trace.

Quite mysterious if you would ask me as not a lot is known. The things we do know are her stats when she's used to battle though, you can find them here:

When I have a look at these stats, I would think she's quite powerfull in a lot of set-ups. But that ofcourse comes with a rather high cost. Having sneak with a mage attack of 2 or 3, depending on the level of the card is powerfull. Add some other great abilities in the mix like rally (which is great in fire as there are quite some assasin melee attackers) and stun and spite. She's not very tanky but has a shield, decent speed and some health. So she should do quite fine on the battlefield.

The Sale

Tasoshi Drakamoto can be bought with vouchers since the 17th of June and that for a period of 90days. So there is still some time left to get your copies. One copy costs 250 vouchers. There's a 2% droprate for goldfoils and a 0.025% chanche to get a blackfoil. These rates could be doubled when utilizing potions, alchemy ones for the goldfoil and midnight for the blackfoil.

Gold Foil Arcane Fortune Draw

Besides these sales, there are some special events as well. the first one is the draw for the 10 gold foil exemplars. The draw will start at August the 12th at 2 PM UTC and there will be one draw every day. The next one starts 25hours after the previous one. This is to counter the aspect of timezones. Which is a great way to tackle that aspect in my opinion, so kudos for that!

One ticket for the lottery will cost 200 Aura, 10 vouchers and 200 DEC. You need ten tickets to have a draw entry. I don't know why utilizing tickets and then forcing people to have ten tickets though. Just in the hope some tickets will stay unused? Personally, I don't like that aspect, it's like overcomplicating things. Besides the draw, you earn a regular foil as well for every draw entry you have. So you will always end up with atleast something!

Black Foil Arcane Auction

Besides the gold foil lottery, there is a blackfoil auction as well. This one starts on the 26th of August. There will be five auctions, each time for one black foil copy. Each auction will last for 25hours.

To be able to bid, you have to buy a 'currency': auction marks. These can be bought for 1000 Aura, 50 vouchers and 500dec each.

Conclusion

Tasoshi Drakamoto seems to be a powerfull card in a lot of different situations. If you have some spare funds laying around, you should definitely consider to buy a copy or maybe try your luck in the lottery for a gold foil or maybe go for the auction? We all know Blackfoil versions are really rare and thus come with a hefty price as well.
