This season I have focused on Modern league and Survival mode. In modern I have almost achieved Champion One, and I have been at 4280 points and only one win away from advancing into the Modern Champion One, but have lost the battle every time, the matchmaking was not in my favor so perhaps I will try to make it into Champion One next season.

My win rate started really low this season at way below fifty percent, but then as the season went on I was able t to improve and my overall win rate was over fifty percent so I am happy with my performance overall.

As you can see for the second season in a row my top source of SPS earnings has been Modern Ranked play, it has surpassed my SPS validator node and was almost a thousand SPS more! The SPS earnings in Modern are really good with many battles toward the end of the season resulting in thirty SPS or more per win.

The number three source of my SPS earnings is Staking Rewards, while I have almost eight hundred thousand SPS staked my slightly under one and a half thousand SPS per season for staking is less than one fourth of my Modern Ranked rewards earnings.

I am still earning a good amount of Merits every season with the main sources of merits being reward chests and Brawls. I continue to spend a little bit of Glint to buy some merits every season as well, though with nothing confirmed with new Gladiator cards or any other uses for the Merit token I am starting to wonder if that is just a waste of Glint...

When it comes to the Glint rewards the main source of my Glint rewards is playing in the Modern League, and I see that the almost nine hundred glint tokens earned in Modern ranked is more than double of what I can earn in Wild league. In general Modern Raked is a lot better in terms of SPS and Glint earnings. I also fee that until you get into Modern Champion the competition in Modern is a lot less than in Wild league.

If you look at how I spent my Glint tokens you can see that most of my Glint was spent purchasing reward chests, but I have also spent a significant amount on leveling my Player card as it is not playable in Ranked play when a special ruleset comes on. Though I still have a long way to level my player card before I feel that it is really usable in Modern Champion...

I have also spent some glint buying energy at the start of the season when my cost of energy was minimal. Though I am spending four thousand Glint per energy point as I roll back to Diamond One in Modern league.

When it comes to vouchers I am spending all of my vouchers on the Conjurer's Hubris exclusive voucher card. I really like this card and was able to level it up to a decent level already. It is now gold level and at level six it got an important ability: Ambush where this card takes a turn before the battle starts. I feel like this ability was really important to have as Conjurer's Hubris has a Stun ability and Apex Strike ability where it targets enemy unit with the most power. This means that there is a chance of immobilizing the enemy's strongest attacker before the battle even starts!

If you are thinking of spending your voucher on this card or the other two cards available in the Voucher shop you have exactly two weeks remaining before these cards go off sale.

šŸŽ Season Rewards — @seattlea

Minor: 27xMajor: 22xUltimate: 9x

I have advanced only a couple times during the last season from Diamond One into Modern Champion Three and then from Champion Three to Champion Two. Unfortunately my league advancement chests turned out to be really underwhelming.

As usual I have purchased the full first tranche of Minor and Major Chests that is a total of 450 chests and I have skipped purchasing the Ultimate Chests completely as my League Advancement Ultimate chests were no better than Major or even Minor chests, so I am not going to spent ten thousand glint of the Ultimate chests.

I have not bought any rarity draws, but at some point soon here I am considering purchasing some Epic and Legendary draws as my legendary and epic cards are really under leveled compared to my Rare or Common cards.

I was able to get seventy five energy from the chests which is really nice as it lets me earn more SPS from the battles. Even though SPS has dipped towards record lows, still if Splinterlands is going to be successful in the long term the SPS in the main asset that I am accumulating to capitalize on that possibility.

Packs Earned

Foundations: 16x

I was able to earn sixteen chests in Frontier mode last season, though Frontier mode is a boring mode for me, I think that mode fits those who just want to try Splinterlands for free. And it is great to have this mode, but for a veteran player like me Brawls, Survival and Modern modes are a lot more fun and more rewarding.

I didn't win anything in Frontier drawings, but in Ranked drawing I was able to pull a black foil common card, which was really fun, especially since I didn't have that card maxed out yet.

In terms of reward cards, my pulls were really underwhelming, despite buying 450 major and minor chests I wasn't able to pull any legendary cards and was able to pull only three epic rarity cards. Oh well, there is always next season.

Closing notes

Overall a great season in terms of my SPS earnings, though not great in failing to advance to Modern Champion One and I was just one win away from doing it several times...

Oh well there is always next season to try to do that and have a better luck in chest openings.
