Season 183 Splinterlands Report for @seattlea

Here is my Season 183 report covering battle performance, earnings, rewards, tournaments and market activity.

I will be going over my performance this season which was primarily playing in Modern Champion league. I have placed on the Modern Champion leaderboard at 68th position this season and if you look at the Modern Champion Leaderboard you will see that there are only 27 non-professional players ahead of me on the leaderboard. Basically I ended up in top 30 non-professional Splinterlands players, the rest are scholars.

⚔️ Battle Results — @seattlea

This season I have decided to focus completely on Modern League. And as you can see the results have been pretty good. I have achieved my highest ranking in Modern for all time maxing out at 4300 before dropping back to 4280. In fact the last day I spent playing on to of the Champion Two sometimes getting back into Champion One.

I was actually happy to drop back to Champion Two, because it means that in the new season my cost to purchase energy for glint will be a little bit lower than if I stayed in Champion One.

You can also see that my win rate was at 51.3% which is actually higher than my target win rate of 50%. I am not sure what to attribute the improved performance this season, perhaps the start of summer and competition is becoming a little bit less?

In addition to placing on the Modern Champion Leaderboard and getting into Modern Champion One, my other achievement this season was getting a record amount of SPS ever as well as for the first time ever earning more SPS in ranked than due to SPS block validation! Basically half of the SPS I earned this season was from Modern Ranked battles!

I think I will keep focusing on Modern Ranked play going forward as well. There is really no reason to play in Wild League these days as my Glint token earnings were excellent as well!

Merits

Yes I still get a good number of Merit tokens every season even though my Gladiator cards are completely maxed out and I don't have any use for these tokens at this time. I am just accumulating them with the hope that new Gladiator cards will be released some time later this year.

Glint

When it comes to my Glint token earnings and expenditures you will see that I have actually earned a little more Glint tokens than I have spent this season. You will notice that the bulk of my Glint expenditures went towards purchasing reward draws and my second expense was to purchase energy for more battles in order to earn more SPS tokens. I think that is actually the best use of Glint tokens at this time.

I also spent some glint tokens on leveling up my exemplar as I heard it will be playable in the Ranked battles fairly soon.

Voucher

I continue earning Voucher tokens and as I earn them I am buying one of the current voucher cards.

Above you see my season advancement chests, I didn't earn anything exciting from those fifteen Ultimate chests even though the cost to purchase those from the store would have been 150,000 Glint tokens

As you can see I have purchased the first tranche of Minor and Major Chests, but I have not purchased any ultimate chests.

Rarity Draws

I didn't buy any cards as I am trying to max them out naturally via chests and the only ones I might need would be legendary cards.

I am getting a good amount of energy from the chests and that is one of the reasons I focus on minor and major chests.

I have earned a very good amount of entries into the Fortune Draws, but I have not been very likely with those.

Closing notes

This was a very good season in terms of SPS earnings and I made some solid progress on leveling up my rewards cards. I will continue focusing on Modern League exclusively going forward.
