The Power of Terraceous Hulk

Greetings to all Splinterlands players and hive gaming community! I wanted to share a recent game I played. The game was fun for me because I was able to use one of my old legendary cards. It's Terraceous Hulk that I got as a reward from the Chaos Legion set. Nowadays, you can only use him in Wild but thanks to Outsider modifier, it's possible to use old cards in Modern again.

Terraceous Huils is a durable front line protector that absorbs opponent attacks while weakening opposing melee teams. At level one, Terraceous Hulk has the following:

• Mana Cost: 11
• Attack: 6 Melee
• Speed: 1
• Health: 11
• Skills:

Taunt – Forces nearly all enemy attacks to target Terraceous Hulk.
Void Armor – Magic attacks damage armor before health.

Terraceous Hulk excels on defense because it has massive durability. It has high health and Void Armor. It survives both physical and magic lineups better than most tanks. It protects the team with Taunt that redirects attacks away from low health damage dealers and support units.

At higher levels, it has opponent debuff. Demoralize lowers the damage of melee cards, making your entire lineup harder to defeat.

The game I played recently shows how good Terraceous Hulk is at his role. He was able to use his massive durability while redirecting attack to him with Taunt. This power was more pronounced with Resurgence skill he received from Elowen Sylphie archon. Because of these skills, my team was able to win the game with a complete line up still intact.

Conclusion

Terraceous Hulk is one of the top defensive tanks in the Earth element. If your strategy revolves around protecting high value backline units while taking up opponent attacks, it is an excellent choice. Especially in high mana games where its durability and Taunt can completely dictate the flow of battle.
